Dr.Martin Bird and the staff at Harbour Medical Center have treated my chronic debilitating often humiliating unpredictable and ultimately terminal illness for over 7 yrs through unrelenting support they've allowed me my dignity. An extremely complicated patient who has within this same period seen 147 seperate medical professionals across many diciplines & they are by far the most efficient , professional and caring Dr.Surgery . I trust them with my life . Dr. Martin Bird is by far one of the most knowledgeable , innovative, proffessional and compassionate Drs. I have ever met who always endeavours to address each and every issue as they arise and there are many as I have one of the rarest genetic conditions in the world . I am admittedly a frustrating patient as I can't be cured but he and his staff have not given up and do everything in thier capacity to assure that I have the best quality of life I can. They listen and take my concerns seriously , many people discount the importance of this in end of life care a time when the little things often make an immeasurable difference.
