This review is for Great Aussie Sweet Company, South Brisbane QLD

I visited this lolly shop on advice from Family when visiting Brisbane. It's your typical Pick'n'Mix lolly shop but with a lot of other imported goods. A few unique items to be "picked" and i loved it so much that i returned the next day to refill a colourful paper bag. A great lolly shop with a wide variety of scrumptious goods.

This review is for Sababa, Newtown NSW

Tried this place after taste testing part of a Felafel from a guy out the front (he worked for them ;)). We had the lunch special of a pita pocket, filled with a meat and other various salads and sauces. I guess that I'm probably used to this cuisine in its traditional form. Sababa's has a modern twist to the middle eastern flavours. Definitely a good lunch deal (pita pocket that was filled to the brim and a can of drink for $9). Tastiest, fluffiest, freshest pita pocket that has ever touched my lips too!

Approximate cost: $9-$15

This review is for Frango Charcoal Chicken, Petersham NSW

Whilst studying around the Petersham area i learnt to ensure i had at least $5 every day to get a good Portuguese Chicken Burger. There are a few chicken shops in the main street and it is hard to distiguish between the amazing smells filling the street in the late morning. But after testing all of them, Frangos (on the corner) is the winner. Make sure you get there early..unless you want to waste your lunch hour in the line up. The Chicken is worth it though!

Approximate cost: $5-$12

This review is for C&B Gourmet Shoppe, Oatley NSW

A small gourmet cafe in Oatley with slices made just like your Grandma probably would've stuffed you with as a child. Not the kind of place you'd bring a large lunch crowd but definitely worth coming to for a one on one quiet coffee and delicious cake or slice. Superb lunch options available as well.

Approximate cost: $3-$10

This review is for Mothers Crepe, Parramatta NSW

This Crepe house only opened recently and since then, every time I've walked past there has been a long line to get these crepe things. So, i tried it. Amazing! They have savoury and sweet Crepes. Reasonable prices and definitely filling. Hopefully they'll continue to do well, they certainly have my tastebuds hooked!

Approximate cost: $4-$7

My first ever overseas holidays was organised through these guys. Any time i visited the shop with queries or concerns, after the initial booking and payment, i was greeted with a smile and a story. The consultants that i've dealt with seem to be experienced travellers, each with their unique pieces of advice. All of my overseas holidays now have been, and continue to be, booked through Student Flights Parramatta.
