My family and I love the cakes that Jenkins make. I usually go for their fruit cake, taro cake or Duran cake. Their very reasonable in price, not too expensive at all. Every time a birthday comes along first place we think of is definitely Jenkins. As soon as you walk into the store someone would greet you immediately and see if they can be of any assistance. The owner actually makes and serves the clients that walk in so they know how to keep the customer happy and business walking in the door.

If you don't mind waiting and don't mind the staff not being able to speak English too well and just want value for your money, this is the place for you!!!!!!
This is THE cheapest hairdresser I have ever been too. I have long black hair, I wanted it dyed, cut into layers and treatment, with wash and blow dry. Cost me only $80. I was truely shocked. Anywhere else I went I got quoted at least $250. I have to admit they don't go around offering you tea whilst you wait and the wait can be a very long time since they only have 3-4 chairs and usually only 2-3 staff working. At any normal salon I might be waiting for 4 hours but here I was waiting for approx 6. I brought myself 2 magazines and just fiddled with my phone. The result was great no complaints there. For anyone that is on a tight budget but has time on their hands this is definitely a place to visit.

Thai Hutt is reasonably authentic. It does serve good food from time to time. Last time I order their food through menulog I order BBQ chicken, the chicken was too dry and it tasted like it was just coated with honey nothing spectacular. All their food is reasonable so don't expect anything amazing. I would say it is a bit pricey. I order a duck curry and it was approx $19 for the dish which I thought was over priced. It barely had any duck pieces in there too.
Considering there is a Thai Restaurant within a 5 min walk I wouldn't come back here again.

This is one of the most lavished hidden sport clubs that I know off. It may look small on the outside but its at least 4 level high on the inside. Their car park has 4 levels so I've never had trouble finding a space. I usually visit there approx 3 times a week. Its a great place to sit back and relax whilst catching up with friends. Their drinks there are cheap. They have a wild selection of food there as well ranging from bistro to Italian, Chinese even gelato.
There also a outdoor area for people who smoke to just sit back and relax on one of their comfy sofas. They even provide you with phone charges for when your phone battery is running low. Pity it didn't work on my phone due to the new upgrade on my Iphone 5s, only genuine chargers can be used on my phone.
The only complaint I have is that my mobile phone has no reception when I walk to certain areas of the club. So when I'm waiting on a friend who is running late I have to choose my seating carefully to ensure we can still keep in contact. Beside that fantastic place to chill and relax

Two weeks ago whilst my partner and I was in Bankstown we went in for some Yum Cha breakfast. It was approximately 10.30am and I can see that we were the first ones there. The staff members were all sitting around on a table still eating their food. We were seated right away and we requested for chrysanthemum tea. They advised us that it would be a 10min wait on the food which we were happy to do so. As i pour the tea into my partner cup I realized that there was a bug in the tea. We waved our hands around attempting to attract attention for the staff members to change our tea, however we didn't get the attention of anyone for at least 5 mins. After they change the tea for us they advised us that because its currently summer there's bound to be bugs in the tea. My partner and I just looked at each other in shock thinking, if they knew this tea would have bugs why serve it out to clients ?? Soon food came around and we were both more preoccupied with eating. We order a dish that was deep fried taro with some mince meat. As soon as my partner took a bite there was a hair in it. We called a waitress over and she looked at the dish and offered to change it for us. At that point we just wanted to leave. We weren't happy about the bugs but now finding a hair in a our food with no apologies. We would never go back there again. I would not recommended this restaurant for anyone.

This is one of my favorite Vietnamese restaurant mainly because they serve my three of my most favorite Vietnamese dishes. I love their Bun Rieu the most which is this tomato vermicelli soup dish, more than half of the places I've been too either don't serve it or serve it way too salty. Their Vietnamese pancake is done also very authentically which is definitely worth a try. I've also had a small gathering there a few months ago and my folks and I were very happy with their level of service. Definitely recommend it for anyone who is in the area.

I usually visit Mr Dough on my way to work. They open before 7am in the morning which caters to those busy work a bees. Its not the best but definitely not the worst place. The last time I went there I order a sujuk pizza. I asked for some lemon and no chilly on mine. I waited until I got on the train, found a seat before I started munching away. It was way too salty and they had added chilly flakes to my pizza. I ended up chucking the whole pizza away. That was the last time I went there. Other than that other times they were pretty decent. Since there are many other pizza places in Bankstown that offer the same thing I choose to go elsewhere.

This is a small pharmacy so when you first glance at it its nothing exciting but it does sell their products are a very reasonable price. I went to buy the morning after pill from there a few weeks back and they were selling it for under $30. Last time I brought it from the city it was closer to $40 for the packet. It definitely was a pleasant surprised and would recommend people to go there to get value for their money.

I would say this is the best pork roll place in the Bankstown area. They have the best pate I have tasted so far. Their meet can be more fatter than most places which brings down the quality but beside that their mayonnaise is definitely up there. I have been going there for many years and because they recognize me they know exactly what I want. They also have little cakes or finger food which are really fresh because they have just made them on the day. the pork roll is $3.50 which is a good and fair rice. Most of the other places around the city charges around $5.

I have been shopping here for years and their one of the cheapest shops with quality clothes I have found in the whole neighbourhood. I brought 4 dressed which only cost me $6 per dress and on top of that I recieved a voucher value of $3.99 because I spent over a certain limit. The clothes here tend to be a little smaller in size so if you're an 10 usually do buy a 12 or at least try it on before you leave. They do not offer refunds. Beside that I was happy to have 4 new dressed for only $24 dollars. The best $24 dollars I have spent in a long time. Would definitely be going back there again!!! :)
