If you want a massive burger this is the place to come, they are huge but very good quality too. Made with all fresh ingredients this isn't just a hamburger shop, they make all sorts of burgers as well as chips too. They even make kids sized burgers which is great for the little ones. Only a few tables around they really do need more. Great value for what you get can't go past them for a fantastic burger.

Mum and I when we couldn't be bothered cooking would come here to get a chicken dinner pack, which had a quarter of a chicken and either chips or roast vegtables. I always had mine with chips and gravy, and the it was just the best, especially the gravy. Full sized serves as well. Really easy to find out the front of Strath Village

This place is huge, so many tables we had no trouble getting in without booking. Large kids area to keep them entertained, and pokies in the room next door to keep the adults entertained too.
Large menu with pretty much most things on it i had a very enjoyable pizza, while my husband had the parma. Good choices on the kids menu which are a great price and even came with a free drink and dessert.
Located at the basketball stadium you don't need to worry about car parking

Beautiful winery overlooking the hills and bush. They also have concerts on occasion here with some pretty well known singers. Have only stopped in here once on my way back to Bendigo and tried a few of their wines produced there. We brought a lovely white to take home with us. I have since brought their wine even though i haven't been back to the winery because of its quality and taste

Modern, clean, brightly decorated, comfortable dining area with tables and a large sofa on one wall. Great selection on the menu, you just have to get up to order your meal and then it will be brought to you, which I think takes away that old fashioned customer service of eating at a pub and having your order taken at the table. Very nice meals but a bit on the expensive side. Not very child friendly as there is no play area for them and dining area would be noisy with a few kids in there

Situated in the mall with tables out the front and a few inside, this very modern bakery has some delicious items for sale. whether you want a freshly made sandwich or roll, or a pie or pastry you really can't beat coming here. Wide range of freshly made breads and rolls. You may line up for a little while as it is a popular place

Modern, a Pizza and Pasta restaurant that is hip and classy. Used by a lot of the younger generation to kick back and enjoy a wine or a beer after work. Expensive meals that I don't really think are worth it for the price you pay, and because of this only tried it once. Good menu with a range of foods not just pizza and pasta

My favourite place to grab a ham and pineapple foccacia from, they are just so delicious. Very small cafe but has a nice little menu and I could always get my coffee strong like i wanted. Owner is a lovely lady who will take time out to have a chat with you, she even gets the newspaper in everyday so you can enjoy a read with your coffee and lunch.

Probably the most popular sometimes the wait here can just get too much, large bar away from the dance floor, but still hard to get too because of so many people being in there. Great sized dance floor with a good selection of music played but most of it your newer more popular songs. Universal is the nightclub that has the tv actors that go there, or the drink promotions they have going. Its the place to be seen if your young, but there is a 1am curfew in Bendigo where you can't get into any nightclub after that time

Always have chickens ready and waiting for you to call in and grab one. Can order for christmas which I have done before. A variety of other food but most of it centres around chicken. Large selection of freshly made salads to make your meal complete, all handmade by them. Good prices, but taste a lot better than a regular chicken you buy from the supermarket
