My partner had the best gourmet venison sausage in bread (at least the moans that emanated from him made me think they were the best), whilst I had little poffertje's that were little pillows of yum. I purchased some fruit trees, herb seedlings, vintage bits and beautiful locally grown veggies - I love this market, well worth the trip over.

I love going here - I always find something gorgeous, in fact last time it was a darling 1940's picture postcard picnic basket, perfect for a thermos, some lunch, cakes and a tablecloth, we also found some vintage kitchenalia which is now proudly displayed at home. There's so much to choose from and it's never the same.

I LOVE this farmers market - went two weeks ago for the first time in months and we loved it. The truffle man is a delight, the organic potato growers are adorable and the best golden beetroot, cauli's and unusual pumpkins were all happily purchased. The sellers are knowledgeable and really lovely. I even got licorice tea and nuts here. Really worth a visit. Well organised and friendly market with happy people and music.

DON'T just DON'T!! I subscribed with a $5 grocery box and the first two were always late with broken or opened items (Redpawpaw didn't care), yes the value was great but then they suspended all boxes for 3 months then demanded an extra $25 a month for delivery. When I signed up it was $5 a month or $60 a year with free delivery. When I complained I was told I was automatically removed from their system and Facebook (I complained privately not publically). I never got an explanation or an apology but I did get my money back. It has left a sour taste in my mouth and I would never recommend them - it still feels like a bait and switch scam.

I had the best day in Buderim - I went on the factory tour, then the tasting, then had my photo taken with the ginger man fibreglass statue (he's a cutie), then into the shoppe to but gorgeous ginger treats. I came away with at least 6 jars of spreads, cordial and over 7kg of ginger (we love ginger) and a host of recipes from the shoppe's staff who were lovely, attentive and actually thanked me for shopping with them. They really have customer service nailed - they are fun and caring and I'm hoping to back on my next big trip.

DON"T - just don't! Do yourself a favour and don't go. The owner is a nasty person who abused me across the store for asking for the ingredients list on a product they were selling (yes, selling food with no ingredients listed). She cared more about cleaning the grill and when I complained to another staff member about her dismissive manner, she came out and yelled at me until I left the store. It ruined my day. The only saving grace is they her adult children are simply lovely human beings and really care about the customers, staff and stock.

Oh-my gosh - the chocolate leaves, the cheese, the wine - a girl could get fat here - so easily, but seriously, such good quality foods, the best hampers and really lovely kitchenware - this is my mecca.

This review is for Polly Shoes, Ballarat Central VIC

I love their bags and shoes but they are a little on the pricey side and don't have good sales very often. In fact I coveted a pair of shoes so badly that were over $149 (they were gorgeous stillettos) and then I had a work trip to Hobart and found Polly shoes there and my shoes were down to $29 and I was so happy I bought them. I did mention it to the ladies in ballarat and they didn't care and wouldn't honour the prices and in fact told me it's their right to sell last seasons merchandise at full price. Must've been a bad day or something. Still they do have gorgeous shoes and even nicer handbags.

Gorgeous inexpensive shoes - I love them but they wear quickly. I recently bought a pair of patent things with bows and they were lovely but the bows were coming off within a couple of weeks. On the upside, the staff are nice and you can get so much more than shoes here (I bought a beach towel too and I LOVE it!).
