I've bought their salt and pepper squid and fish and chips on a few occasions and every time I was disappointed. First of all, it took ages to get served. The staff walked around with no haste talking to each other. In the car I looked in the bag. They had put less in there that what is advertised. You pay for something and get less. I complained, but not as much as a sorry. They looked at me like I was in the wrong, but had to add what was missing. Strange, very strange that they can operate like this. Is nobody complaining? I don't want to go back.
This butcher shop has excellent quality and great cuts. Their service is very good, which is shown by the amount of people that are always shopping there. The guys are always busy.
Their staff is very friendly and good at advising on the many products. The owner gave me some samples, which I thought was a friendly gesture. It's a small shop, but they seem to have the usual products.
It's great to have a chemist, a newsagency and a gift shop all in one place. I do my Lotto, buy magazines and newspapers and while I'm waiting for my prescription, I can browse through all the wonderful gifts. I'm bound to find something and never leave empty handed.
When shopping at Ocean Keys Shopping Centre, I always choose Aroma Café for my coffee break as they always make excellent coffee. The meringue pies are a dream.
We used Waldecks to buy most of the plants for our new garden. It's a nice experience to sit at the beautiful café surrounded by the peaceful tranquility of flowering shrubs, shady trees and with water features in action while contemplating what to buy. We had a sales person with a mass of knowledge and left with a good selection after our coffee and cake.
In earlier days when buying flat packed furniture from IKEA, there used to be screws or something else missing. In the last few years, it's been vastly improved. We're very happy with what we have bought e.g. a huge wall unit, which was a lot of work to put together, but it looks fantastic. The restaurant has value packed meals and we love the Swedish Food Section where we can get our well deserved fix of Swedish goodies.
I like the fact that it's easy to spend hours in there searching for whatever you need in the way of arts and crafts, but also bedding and giftware. It takes time, but you're bound to find what you're looking for.
I bought tiles, tools and cement for doing mosaics. A sales person went out of his way to find some of the things I needed and then went to find me to hand it over. Rewarding experience.
Lately, I have bought a few rugs, beautiful Egyptian cotton sheets, lighting etc. To buy on this auction site is great value. The quality has been very good. However, with the lights I was not too impressed.
