this bar 216 has just re opened again after many people having a try. The have spent some money on dressing it up and it looks pretty good with views across the bay. Drinks were very cheap with $2 pots and 2 for 1 offers etc on Friday and Sat night doesnt open until about 9.30pm. If the word spreads it could go ok especially with social clubs for functions etc.

I have been to this place recently after having a bad experience about a year ago. things havent changed the food was simply terrible and very expensive and the staff not much chop either. The only reason why they get any business i think is because they are in a great location and get lots of tourists.

I think this is a great looking pub with good tasty food most of the time but the consistnecy does vary a bit. The staff probably could do with some more training and not just concentrate on the owner and some of friends when they walk into the room. The owner walked around as if all staff were there to serve just him and forget everyone else.

The food here is real home style italian food and is very good value for money. It seems to be flat out busy on some nights and very quiet on others. They seem to do a lot of functions there also which are very popular.

went there one friday night. the menu seems reasonably priced but the staff seem to be a bit all over the place and not much idea of what is going on. it seemed a bit like a rudderless ship at times.

great groovy venue with side function room which makes it great for birthdays, engagement parties or work functions etc. The staff are usually friendly and helpful especially the owner "beaver" and his brother "flash".

this coffee shop is in a great location and easy to get to in trendy ryrie street. they were very friendly and also happy to serve you unlike some other places around town. all food and drinks were great

I am not a coffee drinker but love iced chocolate. The stuff they served up was like dishwashing water and tasted terrible so i wont go here again. The place is also in a weird posistion so hard to get into.

I have used Benders coaches on numerous social club trips at work and they have always been great service and the drivers very friendly. Judy in the office is always very helpful with any questions. I also think that since the bender family no longer own this business it seems to have improved.
