This is our local Thai and we have enjoyed the food on every occasion. I prefer eating in as opposed to takeaway. The staff are very nice and attentive. Their green and red curries are decent but my favourite dishes have been the Calamari salad (Yum Pla Murg) and the stir fried beef with garlic, chilli and basil (Pad Bai Gapao). My partner really loves the char grilled chicken (Gai Yang) which is marinated with honey, garlic, chilli and lemon grass. Recently we've tried their char grilled pork (Moo Yang) and we think it's even better than the chicken.

Their desserts are quite limited however. We've tried a couple such as the little flour balls in coconut milk - very unusual but not that tasty. My partner's favourite dessert is the banana fritter with ice cream.

We have always found their service to be excellent. The last time we dined here my partner exclaimed, 'it's too cheap!' Our bill for dinner: rice, two dishes, a glass of wine and a dessert came to $43.

Open 7 days dinner only, 5.30pm to 10.30pm. Licensed and BYO wine only.

Approximate cost: $10-$13 salads; $12-$16 mains; Prawn dishes $15.90

We enjoy the Blue Grenadier fish here. I get it grilled, my partner gets battered, both are extremely good. The chips are decent enough but the standout is the fish. Since I'm on a budget, my usual is the Kids Pack (!) I'm not a kid, but I find it very filling. For $4.80 ($5.10 for grilled) you get a half strip of fish, a helping of chips, a dim sim and 3 potato scallops/cakes. The staff are always nice and friendly.

They also do burgers, souvlakis, and a wide variety of fried snacks eg chikos, spring rolls, dim sim, chicken nuggets, corn jacks, crumbed prawns and even pineapple fritters, according to the menu.

Approximate cost: $8.00
