The pizzas are yum but nothing distinctive from competitors (I know I'm going against the trend here). I've not had delivery but pickup I've had to wait around. Not our D.C. favourite.

I usually ring an order ahead. It's always ready within the time they give me and that's never been more than 15 minutes. While not effusive, the staff are pleasant. Food's always great. I've argued with friends about the best chips in the area - we swear by this guy.

I have visited there 5 times for cut, colour & foils. In that time staff were meant to create a "card" for me but never did so the next visit we'd have to start all over again choosing colours etc. I had an apprentice cut my hair twice. The first time she did a great job. Two months later - same cut - she totally messed up including me ending up with a fringe I hadn't asked for and two sides not even in length. Since then I've also been advised that the colours shouldn't have been used the way they used them and will have to spend a couple of years growing out to something more workable (they basically bleached & added foil upon foil until my whole head of hair was beyond help). Now when I colour I return to the bleached look instead of my natural over time (hence the long growing out process). Her work was checked when she "finished" and I could see she was in trouble but I was given no apology (even though we discussed the fact I hadn't had a fringe until that point) and still paid the full price. Some people would have rightly complained. I'm non-confrontationalist and couldn't bring myself to but I'll never go there again. I've had friends complain about service there too and I had ignored them but now I've joined their ranks.

This is a basic setup & the gym equipment is squeezed into a small room. Having said that the newer "30 minute" ladies gyms look like they're squeezing into tight corners too. The staff are all friendly and helpful. While it's basic, the equipment does it's job (and they've just updated their areobic stuff) and as a member you are encouraged to have regular re-assessments to keep you interested, motivated and make sure all is going to plan. They also run a load of group fitness programs which I don't participate in but there is something for everyone and they are held in the halls which have dividers to compartmentalise into smaller rooms as needed. Finally the cost undercuts the other better fitted gyms so if you know what you're doing or are not fussed about the latest gadgets you'll get value. Oh and one more thing - membership includes entry to the Outdoor Pool in Dimo when it is open (more value).

Given Bakers Delight is a homogenous franchise it is disappointing to see that there can be so much variation in quality of the same product. At Diamond Creek the products often seem a tad over cooked. Also their products aren't turned over through the day so that they loose their freshness by the end. I have shopped at other B.D.'s that have a freshly cooked batch late in the day which taste amazing and there's none of that staleness of bread/rolls aired through the day. Another problem in comparison with other B.D.'s is their range is smaller. Some of my favourite rolls and buns aren't there. Having said that, the rolls in particular are still an easy convenience for lunch on the run with kids. My final comment is: no eftpos. Argh!

Mario & the staff are always friendly. They are extremely tolerant of children running around the shop and most of the time spoil the kids with a treat which means my boys LOVE doing the shopping with me. The produce is good quality. I've never had cause to complain but have overheard another customer discussing something or other that Mario himself was adamant should have been better quality and didn't hesitate to give another of the same to the customer. When I've been at the checkout he has also stopped me over produce he doesn't think fit even though I chose it myself and picked a better item for me. The staff know their veg and can recommend different varieties for different cooking purposes. I've even been caught out without my purse but as a regular customer they were happy for me to pay the next week and trust me. I have also asked for obscure items and as long as they have a bit of warning they will get anything in. There is also a lovely range of incidentals - canned legumes, eggs, gluten free pre-mixes/chips, lollies, flowers. I'm a particular fan of their stock of honey and soap. I am totally devoted to them and only shop elsewhere for my fruit and veg when absolutely desperate.

I trust these guys. They've been upfront and helpful in saving me money/time. Very friendly and accomodating. Where they have replaced parts they have kept the old to show me the wear and tear. I've paid high amounts for the work but it's more indicative of the work done than their charges being too high. I know for a fact they have advised against certain work to save me money and also have hunted down second hand parts for me for the same reason.
