I went here when I injured my lower back at work. The staff were friendly and professional and helped me to get better quickly. Only thing is it was quite expensive, but I think that's because physiotherapy in general is not cheap!

This Indian take-away is so good! I usually get the dhal though I have had other delicious menu items as well. Definately the best Indian take-away I've ever had. Nice and friendly people who run it as well.

Four of us went for lunch on a weekend. Service was disorganised with waiting staff having no idea where we were up to in our ordering. My meal was served reasonably quickly but the rest of the people dining with me waited AN HOUR for their food to arrive. We asked after the food 3 times and each time were told it was almost ready (it took 45 minutes from the first time we asked to when the food actually arrived on the plate. The last time we asked after the food (we'd been there nearly an hour) the waitress asked if we'd like to order more drinks. We didn't want to buy anything else! Maybe some drinks, or even our food, should have been given to us for free for the wait! In the meantime a huge cockroach crawled up the leg of one of the people I was dining with! Another person I was dining with ordered a 'small chips' and was horrified when it arrived, it consisted of literally about 10 chips. The food was ok, but definately not worth the wait or experience! Won't be going back!

This review is for Pulp Fiction Comics, Adelaide SA

The best comic book store in Adelaide, a great range of comics and manga, with plenty of local and indie comics as well. The staff are fantastic, really helpful and knowledgable, friendly, and pretty frequently give you a discount if they know you, you buy a lot, or you buy something because they recommended it to you. They're also great at getting stuff ordered in for you if there's something specific you're looking for, and you can get issues regularly put away for you, which is very handy.

I have been going to these doctors for years and they are fantastic. Bulk bill, drop in without an appointment Mon-Sat mornings and appointments in the afternoons Mon-Sat. They have helped me through some tough times and mysterious illnesses, definately the most knowledgable doctors I have come across. I go out of my way to go there instead of to a different clinic. They are quick but they are fantastic, funny, and good with kids too.

Took my car to them for years, only recently stopped as I moved away. They do a terrific job, have reasonable prices, and most importantly are very friendly and approachable. They don't treat you like an idiot like some other mechanics do! They really are lovely.

This review is for Elysian Salon Spa, Adelaide SA

Elysian Salon Spa offers hair removal, hairdressing, make-up, and lots of massages and spa treatments. They use Aveda products which are "not tested on animals unless required by law", which means that they do test on animals so that they can sell in some countries that require it, such as China. I am very anti-animal testing but unfortunately this is the closest I can find to a animal-testing free hair removalist so it will have to do for now. Prices are reasonable (eg $20 eyebrows, $20 underarms) and they do a great job. The environment is very relaxing and luxurious, every time I go for a wax I feel like I'm really treating myself! I've also had a 1 hour hot rock massage ($90) there once and it was AMAZING!

I used to go there every now and then when I was vegetarian and it was ok, I loved the haloumi salad and you can get a BOWL of hot chocolate, not particularly cheap though. However, then I went vegan and hadn't been there for a while. I was organising a brunch with some friends and suggested we try the place, as it is always very busy and I thought my friends would like it. I emailed first and explained that I was looking at booking a table for a brunch but there would be a vegan and asked if they had any vegan options. The reply I got back was that yes there were lots of vegan options, just ask the person at the counter and they'll point them out to you. So I booked the brunch and we went but when I asked at the counter about vegan options they said they didn't have any! I told them about my email reply and they said well, we don't have anything except this salad. I didn't want to have salad for breakfast and finally one of the girls said they could make the muesli with fresh berries, without yoghurt and then put soy milk on it. Great, so I had that. When I got it though, the bottom of the bowl (where the fresh berries were) was suspisioucly creamy and tangy, I think the berries were actually in yoghurt anyway! I was so hungry by this point that I just ate it. I won't be eating there again though.

This review is for Burp, Adelaide SA

Best mexican fast food in Adelaide. I've tried other places in the city but they're not as good. Burp is kind of like subway, but mexican. It's fast, fresh, healthy, and delicious. They are vegan friendly with most menu items. We eat here regularly. The place is really fun and they sell some imported soft drinks like Dr Pepper, and some alcohol, including HUGE margaritas!

Approximate cost: $10

Godzilla pizza is a normal pizza place except that every pizza on their menu can be made vegetarian or vegan. I'm vegan and I love the meatlovers and the pepperoni pizzaa. When I feel like something meaty and cheesy, I come here. The quality of the vegan meats and cheeses is great. I really have no idea why more places don't do this, we drive quite far just to go get pizza from Godzilla Pizza. There are also lots of vegan desserts but I haven't had one of them yet.
