I went ther last night with my two kids ... both seafood nuts. We had a ball. It was a treat but I've been promising trhem a weekend away for ages and taking them to this amazing restaurant just blew their minds. They have a menu that you order from then the seafood, salad and dessert buffets are included. My 14 y.o son and I were $72 ea (Sat night) and my 10 y.o was $30. It's an experience not to be missed.

Just came back from a weekend down on the coast with the kids. Stayed Friday and last night (Saturday). I thought at first it was going to be cold the pool was a beautiful temperature. The rooms are lovely and spacious with lots of windows so lovely and bright. Nice new carpet in our unit and furniture was comfortable. Fully equipped kitchen (although it only got used for a coffee!)and laundry as expected in most apartments. Really close to everything. We parked the car when we arrived and didn't use it till we left. Heaps of restaurants around. It was a lovely weekend.

Had lunch from here today. I couldn't believe how much sushi I got for $5.50. Sushi was beautiful and fresh. I had the smoked salmon box so there were 2 x salmon sushi rolls and some salmon on rice and came with pickled ginger & soy and I was offered more!

Approximate cost: $ 5.50

I've been racking my brains trying to remember the name of this place. It's awesome and the food! A huge variety of different Chinese dishes. Try the sizzling plates of chicken with veges in hoi sin sauce but don't wear your Sunday best. It spits everywhere!

Approximate cost: $8

My daughter was a student here up until the middle of 2012. I wish she still was. She's now in grade 5 and would be far more advanced, had we stayed there. Unfortunately moving was out of my hands. The teachers are fantastic and have the knack of relating to the kids right from when they first start Prep. They don't tolerate any misbehaviour, education levels are set high and achieved. I wouldn't hesitate to reccomend this school.

Dr Carlos Chan is my G.P here. He's a very thorough doctor who is very proactive at getting you in a better state of mind ( I suffer from depresion brought on by a medical condition) and health. He's helped me more than any doctor since I've been sick.

Amazing views and beautiful rooms. There's a choice of 2 buildings, one more recently built. All fully equipped with all the amenities (dishwashers, ovens, washing machines etc) but there are so many cafes and restaurants around we ddn't use them cos we only stayed the weekend. Weekends get expensive and like all of these apartment type places the longer you stay, the cheaper it is.

Approximate cost: $370 for 2 nights

This review is for Ginger Factory, Yandina QLD

The ginger factory is always a drawcard to trips up the coast. They still have the train that does the lap (along with some funny chooks chasing alongside) but I'm sure my kids just want to go for the delicious icecream. It's still a lovely, pretty place to visit with the added bonus that the Macadamia factory is straight over the road

This review is for Ettamogah Pub, Palmview QLD

It's quite a sight to behold when you're just driving and voila! There she is! I've grown up with the vision of this being the typical Aussie Pub. How times have changed. It's still just a basic pub inside but you know...It's way cool!

What was a spectacularly popular attraction around the time of the Ekka has fallen into a sad state of disrepair. We wandered around an empty shop and didn't take the train ride through the pineapple plantation that I so fondly remembered. Badly in need of a spruce up and major P.R overhall
