With beautiful grounds, a great kids playground, and quite a few shops to wander through, we really enjoyed our morning here. It's well worth a visit, though we would warn that you need to have patience when waiting for your food or drinks from the cafe - it took quite a while just for a tea and scones, and they definitely need to improve on this. Otherwise, the ginger scones were fantastic, and the flavoured ginger beer was delicious, though pricier than we would expect buying direct from the source. Would make a great place for a kids party.

I've always found the staff friendly and enjoy the holiday programs they run. I've had the season passes a couple times which have always been great to use when our sons were pre-school age. Nice place to have a cuppa, catch up and even bring your picnic and enjoy the gardens, the little shops and fenced playground for the littlies.

The Ginger Factory at Yandina is one of our local favourites. On hot summer days when the kids need to get out of the house we can take them there to share an ice cream and take a walk around their gardens which our children liken to a jungle. It's nice & cool on the hot days. Easily accessible, plenty of parking & reasonable priced. You can also learn a lot while you're there about the factory itself, ginger & their honey bee display.

Was in the sunshine coast and on the way back from Noosa we stopped off at this place. It's free to enter but we took the option of the train trip and overboard for a family of 5 and it cost us $64. The younger kids loved the experience on the train and checking out the factory and hearing the history, as well as the feeding of the chickens. On the overboard ride we were able to see puppetery in many countries and it was a where's the ginger man. Also ate at their cafe and was good but a little pricey. All in all was a pleasant place to attend whilst on the sunshine coast.

The ginger factory is always a drawcard to trips up the coast. They still have the train that does the lap (along with some funny chooks chasing alongside) but I'm sure my kids just want to go for the delicious icecream. It's still a lovely, pretty place to visit with the added bonus that the Macadamia factory is straight over the road

My child adores the train and "boat" rides, but they do get a little expensive. The food is lovely, and the shops are tempting! They sometimes have activities for children, such as the Mad Hatters' Tea Party for Easter last year. Or workshops for decorating Gingerbread men. The ginger shop is not as well furnished as it used to be years back and I find the honey quite pricey. A nice outing for the whole family though.

My 3 year old loved this place. Has a train ride you can go on that takes you around the grounds, my son thought it was great riding on 'Percy' and seeing the ducks trying to keep up with the train. There is also a magic show in holidays a cafe that does expensive but decent meals, expect a wait during holiday times though plus all the ginger items you can imagine are available to buy.

I took my children to the Ginger Factory a couple of times when they were younger and they absolutely loved the place. The train was their favourite bit although the section on the history of cane farming in the district was mine.

They do have a good variety of good for sale mainly to do with the sales of Ginger which is what their trade is all about Buderim Ginger. You can buy a lot of food varietys which contain Ginger. They have quite a few different little shops including Cafes and a Ice Creamy. We have been to the Cafe for Devonshire teas, they have ginger as well as ordinary scones. The scones are quite nice but we have found the service in this food area sometimes quite unfriendly and abrupt. So we don't go to their food section any more. They get paid to give you a smile and service but some of them don't know how to do it, so we go down the road for Devonshire teas where the staff are all volunteers and don't get paid. But if you want information and help with purchases or want to buy ginger products the staff at the main counter where you 1st come in are usually friendly. They also have a train attraction which takes you around the grounds and you can also see where Ginger is manufactured. A nice place for a family get together or overseas tourist, but remember to take your wallet with you as things can be a little expensive here.
