We LOVE Harrigan's. It's a perfect family friendly pub in the Hunter Valley. Service is prompt (which is perfect for busy toddlers). Food is really really good. Atmosphere is good. We were also at Harrigans for fathers day and it was just perfect! They had a free jumping castle and petting zoo. Highly recommend Harrigans!

We love Scratchleys take away! It's our family weekend treat. Fish is yummy. Chips are yummy. Calamari is yummy. We never bother eating in the restaurant cuz it's too expensive. Take away fish and chips on the adjacent lawn is perfect after a family bike ride on the foreshore!

Lynette (owner) provided an empathetic approach in a period of time that was causing me so much anxiety. She completed a comprehensive assessment of the situation and provided such helpful advice which helped me achieve my goal of exclusively breastfeeding my daughter. Following the first visit, she emailed helpful fact sheets, including how to manage a toddler when breastfeeding which was SOOOOO valuable. The advice was client/baby centered and REALISTIC.

She was available at a moments notice (which was helpful, because there was a 2 week wait time to see the lactation consultant at the hospital - I would have switched to formula if I had to wait that long). She is also very accessible by phone (for those stressful witching-hour questions) and by email. Her replies are prompt and has saved my sanity each time.

Because of Lynette, I can say that I am successfully breastfeeding my daughter. If I had relied solely on public health system, I would have given up weeks ago due to a perceived notion (perpetuated by Public Health Nurses) that I had low milk supply and baby not following growth charts which are based on formula-fed babies. Thank goodness for people like Lynette! I highly recommend her services. she's worth every penny!

Ian (owner) is really personable and efficient! Went in for 20 week pregnancy scan and was busting to go to the loo. Ian was so kind and did my scan straight away. He also was unable to get a good profile of bubba (bubba was not cooperating) and he offered us to return in a few weeks (at no cost) to try to get a better pic of bubba! The service is so much more personable than the larger Radiology places. Best bit: They bulk bill!!!!

Dr Nicole Callen is a fantastic GP. I must concur with the previous comment: very thorough, knowledgeable, doesn't give the run-around and very caring - excellent "bed-side manners". I like that they bulk bill for children. Never had to wait very long for my scheduled ap't. If Dr Callen isn't available, other doctors are usually available if required. Good parking nearby.

Needed an electrician to fix a light switch. Peter returned the call promptly and was able to come within a day which was great. Work was completed promptly, no fuss. Fee very reasonable for the work completed. Very friendly service. Will call again if required.
