After 19 years, our Sharp air conditioner broke down.
I pre-purchased a Panasonic AC (CS/CU-Z18RKR) from a retailer and got Airemark Australia (Parkdale, Vic) to remove the old and install the new one.

This was the 2nd air conditioner I have had installed and because I was very happy with the excellent workmanship I had from Mark and Steve, I requested their services again.

I was delighted with the quality and neatness of the installation and their clean-up afterwards. I asked for the internal unit to be installed in the centre of the room and it turned out to be mm perfect.

My new unit is now working better and more efficiently than the previous air con and I am extremely happy.

Initially I got three quotes. Airmark was priced in the middle, but in our communications, I felt more confident with Airemark.
A good choice as it turns out.

We selected Classic Fireplaces and BBQs in Eltham from their website because it showed that they had a good range of brands and models. We were impressed with the range of working units on display and with the good knowledge and friendliness of all their sales staff. They came out for a quote within a few days and came in slightly lower than another quote. They coordinated the timing of tradesmen and they all arrived on time. The gas plumber was good and checked for any gas leakages on our property. The metal framing to box-out our fireplace complied with fire regulations. Had I framed it up myself it would have been made from flammable timber! We were impressed with the quality of workmanship and our Jetmaster Heat n Glow I-30 gas log fire is now installed and looking magnificent. There were some delays in settling other minor loose ends, including leaving unneeded hebel blocks in our lounge room. That is all sorted now. It may have been cheaper to arrange for my own tradesmen but I am sure it would be more difficult to coordinate them to arrive on time.

McKinnon Heating and Cooling supplied and fitted a new Brivis HX23i gas central heater to replace our 35yo Atlas Webster heater. They quickly responded with a quote that was quite competitive. They were ready to install it within two weeks and despite the poor weather came on time. They efficiently removed the old unit and installed the new system. To get us up and going straight away, the installers plugged the new unit into an extension lead, because the electrician was not available until the next day. The electricians came on time and completed the job. When I looked up there, they had left their off-cuts in the ceiling space instead of removing them, but it did not concern me because it is out of sight anyway. They provided good old fashioned service without any dramas. Would I recommended them? Definitely!

Carpet Court (Hughesdale) staff were helpful without the high pressure. As an ex-carpet layer, we appreciated Terry's flooring expertise and we had him for the measure and quote. With his price coming in under a competitor, we went with them. After the carpet was laid, we were disappointed with different shades either side of a join. We immediately rang Terry who came to inspect it within half an hour. Their after sales service was excellent, where many places are not. Carpet Court sent out a rep from the carpet supplier, who determined and demonstrated that it was all an optical illusion due to the way the light was falling over the slightly raised join. After the furniture was put back, the shading was much less noticeable. Their prices seem good and we recommend their excellent service.

I have been a loyal customer of Edgars Tyrepower for many, many years and always found the service to be excellent even though they are always busy. I have found their normal prices to be competitive and will beat or match prices including on-line ones. As for after sales service, they willingly follow up any problems. It can be a bit tight parking in their driveway but they have free parking next door. I have recommended them to friends.
