This review is for MJC Plumming & Gas, Tamworth NSW

Matt branched out and started his own plumming business and is always looking for new customers. He came immediately that I called and fixed a leaking bathroom sink tap - he didn't just do one, but both and reamed it out properly too. I got him back to do my kitchen taps a few months later and was given the same quick, efficient service. He's personable, reliable and doesn't charge an arm an a leg for his services. He also threw in some new taps for nothing! I highly recommend MJC if you're in need of a plummer in Tamworth.

ShareASale.com is a central online affiliate program, where you can register to become an affiliate with all manner of online business, using one central source to keep track of them all, create links, banners etc.

It's free to join and costs nothing, ever. All you need is time and the patience and know-how to copy/paste links and banners on your blog, website, in an email to your mates & colleagues - or on your twitter account.

I have registered with about eight affiliate programs, but thus far have only created a few links on my blog and on twitter for two of them. I started linking about 2-3 months ago and have earned $30+ dollars in that time.

Payment is made via direct transfer to your bank account (like RewardsCentral.com does) and the first payout is when you reach $50.00. I will let you know when that happens.

Blurb.com is an excellent one to sign up as an affiliate with as the programs they offer are simple and pay well, in addition to the 15% one makes from every referred sale.

The one thing I love about Tamworth JB HIFI (aside from it's fantastic TV prices!) is the service. The staff are always happy, ready to serve and never leave you waiting. You can't walk two feet without someone offering assistance. They will happily talk through any queries you have and advise according to your budget and needs. They DON'T treat you like a second class citizen when you say you're looking for whatever is cheap - and in fact will hunt down the best deal for you and your budget.

They're happy for you to browse as long as you like, don't pressure for a sale and never try to 'upsell' you to something dearer or something extra.

A pleasant shopping experience with the best priced TV's I've found!!! - Anywhere - even online!

80cm Soniq TV with built in DVD player - $199. Just what we needed.

Approximate cost: $199. 80cm TV, with built in DVD

Curiosity got the better of me and I decided to try a full fortnight shop at Aldi; I saved 25% on the total cost of my groceries!! If you're prepared to try new brands, the prices are unbeatable and product quality is excellent. (It's also a nice feeling to see labels in the pantry, fridge and freezer again instead of homebrand packs - which get depressing after a while) Their products are anything up to half the price, and certainly no dearer than home brand products in major supermarkets. I highly recommend them.

You can stock your freezer with bags of frozen vegetables of every variety for $1.00 - 2.50 per kg bag.

Fresh veg is FRESH! and hasn't been frozen, so lasts up to three weeks.

What I love most is the alcohol prices! They've a 'Precious' brand of wine for $2.50 per bottle (reds & white) and it is just lovely - I highly recommend it (and I'm fussy when it comes to wine - I too was dubious when it was first recommended to me!) Spirits of every kind - under $30.00. Beer starts at $7 for a six pack.

GOOD ADIVICE: Take your own bags! GRAB a trolly - even if you don't think you'll need it - you will at the checkout! (You get the dollar back when you return it) When your groceries go through the checkout you need to put them back in your trolley and bag them yourself. ALDI sell bags - plastic 15c each or 99c cloth. I take a bag of bags.

A two week full grocery shop inclusive of veg - under $100.00

Very easy to sign in and deposit cash to bet. Getting cash back from your winnings however - a whole other story.

So many Government warnings about giving out your personal details online - you just don't do it. On this site you have to give your full name, date of birth, home address to register, then give your personal financial details. Only an idiot would give all that out to one website - an particularly to one that is an unknown quantity. Trust works both ways.

After they've happily and easily taken your money and allowed you to place a bet - they THEN check if you are who you say you are and UNTIL they verify you - they don't pay out your winnings - nor do they refund your original money you paid them in good faith.

Take some advice - walk into a TAB, club or pub. No ID required AND you can collect your winnings.

I only put down 20.00 to try it out on the Melbourne Cup and won back $34.00. Which I will now never see unless I tell them everything about me bar the colour of my knickers. One wonders how much free profit they've made out of suckers like me.

Sorry, but this site stinks.

Approximate cost: $My winnings.

This review is for Eyecare Plus Optometrists Tamworth, Tamworth NSW

I have had my eyes checked by Andrew Greer for many years. Consultations are free with a medicare card. Unlike many optometrists he is not about making money out of issuing glasses and has a genuine concern and interest in the health of your eyes. He spotted the need for corrective lenses as a teen and subsequently, just as he said would happen, after 12 months wearing them, I have not had the need for glasses since. He is easy to talk to, puts you instantly at ease and does a thorough examination every time. I thought I needed glasses recently as I suffered a lot of eyestrain and severe headaches doing the work I do, but his simple advices and basic eye exercises have prevented eyestrain from developing into a need for glasses - and the persistent headaches have ceased! I also have a friend who had a tumor he and his doctor were completely unaware of which Andrew Greer spotted - simply by looking at his eyes - and saved his life with his timely diagnosis. He is a fabulous optometrist and I highly recommend him.

I'm sorry, but I am no big fan of pizza hut - they just cannot match Eagle Boys on price, service, quality - or freshness! Cleanliness is a bit questionable too, whereas Eagle Boys is always spotless and FAST! (12 mins, tops.)

I can highly recommend this computer store based on one element alone - AFTER SALES SERVICE! Nothing is too much trouble and these gentlemen go out of their way to help in any way they can - not only to get you the best deal - but also to assist with any problem you may have after purchasing from them - even with computers and equipment you've purchased elsewhere. A great little business that does a top notch job all round.

Probably one of the 'better' pubs in Tamworth - much more inviting after it's makeover - open plan at the front is inviting and comfy. Good gigs and friendly service overall.

This is a great place to hunt around - mind you - you can do the same at the tip for much less! Sometimes good, sometimes not so good - like any of these sorts of places - you just have to keep turning up and keep hunting for what you're after - that's the nature of it! I have never sold stuff here but, have heard it is a good place to sell through - particularly for difficult to move items. I and others I know have nabbed a few bargains at the Tender Shed. If you love this sort of shopping, check it out - it's always changing and you just never know what little - or big - treasures you may find!
