My poached eggs were under cooked, the toast was very hard to chew, and the table wasn't clean. The only saving grace was the tasty coffee - so needless to say, I probably won't go back for breakfast, but takeaway coffee is on the table
Damn I love bagels - and these are some of the best in Melbourne. Always taste fresh and a great variety to choose from. Pricey, but worth it
Gotta admit, I was pretty disappointed here, after hearing really good things - perhaps it was just hyped up too much in my head! The food was fresh and lots of sharing options if you go in a group. Service was fairly slow, but they were busy when I went
Delicious. Not just a bakery - there's plenty of food choices for a meal, including delicious pizzas and authentic tasting middle eastern food. Pretty decent coffee and reasonably priced
Pricey ($10 for a fairly basic sandwich), but the coffee is fantastic - the best you can get at Preston Market in my opinion. The sandwiches are decent, but not much for vegetarians
Approximate cost: $15
I love this place - so much vegan baked goods to choose from (including classics, like "cheese" and "bacon" rolls, "meat" pies, etc) and really good prices.
Approximate cost: $10
I'm not the biggest fan of Ramen in general, but a friend of mine loves it, so we checked this place out and I was pleasantly surprised. The ramen was fresh with some decent vegetarian options, and the entrees were tasty - we had some tempura vegetables which were nice and crisp. Friendly service and well-priced
Approximate cost: $20
Overrated and overpriced. The venue itself isn't too bad, with plenty of space to sit outside and enjoy a drink (of which there is a good range to choose from, albeit expensive). But the food trucks are some of the most expensive I have come across and the food is in tiny serves
Approximate cost: $25
I found this place very disappointing. After a great day at the beach, we wandered up to get some fish and chips. The place was packed - which was to be expected - but we were waiting nearly half an hour just to be served, and then another hour for our food. Flake was $6.50 for only a small piece, and the food was very greasy and didn't taste fresh at all
Approximate cost: $20
Well-priced cafe located near one of the entrances of Northland shopping centre. The meals are very big, and you can order delivery from Uber Eats -- and it is perfect for when you are hungover. Good range to choose from and they do deluxe milkshakes
