Excellent service and comfortable atmosphere. Every drink gets a free chocolate from a huge tray of chocolates that comes out. The staff know every single chocolate by memory. Caters for the sweet tooth but also has savoury calzones (albeit a small variety).
Excellent atmosphere. Superior customer service, the staff know there stuff, from the food to the drinks and are always attentive. It is however a bit pricey. I'm into sweet wine - Moscato. They have a moscato summer cup (cocktail type drink) and a moscato granita!
The atmosphere is great, especially on one of those cold days where you want to rug up and embrace something warm. The soups are great here as are the desserts. The staff can be hit and miss. I have had times where there hasn't been an exchange apart from the essential information and other times they have been all smiles and friendly. Overall it is still my favourite cafe in Sassafras. Also a big community table sits in front on the fire place, a lovely addition to invite small talk among its patrons.
Delicious food and genuine heart felt service. This tiny place is a gem! The owner pays attention to the small details, like straightening the utensils, folding the napkins correctly and giving each customer his time. This generosity of the heart coupled with the amazing food gets me every time!
Great range of products and very well priced. Very strange staff however. The place is like a huge show room so it's easy to spend a lot of time looking. The staff watch you like hawks, makes for a very uncomfortable feeling, on top of that they commented on every piece I picked up and not in a friendly informative manner. It was more I'm watching you and know what you touched way! Perhaps they need to re-think their security measures if they have experienced sticky hands. Hawk eyes on real customers however won't work - despite the excellent range I won't return. It was an uneasy feeling and I didn't feel comfortable to explore their products.
Nice tidy store. I've visited many times and had a positive experience. My last experience however left me suspicious and disappointed. I don't think the staff had seen me enter the store and I over heard what must have been a manager or head person say to the staff "next person that sells these vitamins get this", (holding up a $10 note). Whilst I realise that incentives work to get a sale who is working to help my health? (Do I really need the vitamins that are going to pushed on me?) I go to a pharmacy to get professional advice from ethical people who care about my health not the $10 they can win. I was shocked to think the pharmacists go along with such 'incentives'. Please review your code of conduct and the ethics that should underlie it.
Great store, it has a good variety and the pricing is reasonable. The staff however are terrible when it comes to the basics of customer service. There is no hello how are you? Instead I have often received a cocked eyebrow to acknowledge my presense followed by the amount my purchases come to. The only pleasant small talk I have encountered was by a young man who was a naturopathic student. I would be happy to go elsewhere however at this stage find the location most convinient. It's a shame that they are either too comfortable or don't take their customers quest for health seriously enough to engage and provide support.
