It was the first time i came to Jasmin1 upon recommendations from friends. They recommended me to try the 'mixed plate' ($14) which had a variety of middle eastern delicacies such as Kibbeh, Tabouli, Falafel etc. It tasted delicious and at $14 you can't really go wrong!

The service on the other hand is pretty standard, though I don't expect much.

I've had fantastic experiences with this restaurant, I've been there so many times they know me by name! The pizza's are fantastic though i am only a fan of one type of pasta, that is, penne chicken and mushroom. The prices are reasonable and with its quiet location makes it a fantastic, cosy night out.

Great food! its good to come about half an hour before peak time (6pm) because once it gets busy, it never stops! Its quite loud but tolerable. The food is great! We always order the Mi Dom Gui which is an assortment of various marinated meats. The idea is they give it to you raw and you cook it yourself using a portable gas burner thing, though for cooking newbies like myself, there are always waiters there willing to give you a helping hand. This sets you back around $34 dollars though it will feed two-three stomachs depending on your appetite. Along with this, you also get complimentary sides which include, some sort of potato thing which tastes quite nice, boiled mung beans which i dont touch, Kim Chee, and this jelly looking thing which tastes quite ok.
Will definitely be coming back, well, considering i've been there three times in one year!

best value is if you come during mid week, mondays are $13 ribs day and wednesdays are $11 steak days. great cut of steak (sirloin) generous portions, good sides. I absolutely LOVEEE their steaks!! you can have it either with fries and salad as a side or mash and salad at no additional cost. there is no need to buy a drink in order to get a discount. Normally it would be around $21 for the same thing on other days. The queue however for seats can be quite frustrating as it is absolutely packed out particularly on the specials nights. but overall quite good food, service and overall.

Fabulous food. Not as busy as their An restaurant competitors but the food is lovely nonetheless. The portions were reasonable size for its $8.50 pricetag which is significantly cheaper than its equivalent at An ($10.70). Decor is ok, nothing special. Happy to visit again!

great food! my friends and i (a group of 6) went for some curry and ordered the butter chicken! it came with little sides along with the basmahti rice and butter chicken. We read on their website that it was $10.50 thereabouts for the butter chicken but we were only charged $8 for it. No complaints at all!

Most delicious Pho (pronounced fur) i.e Beef Noodle Soup in town! The service is quite efficient and speedy with their PDAs and all and the decor has been refurbished and clean toilet facilities. The price tag is quite high in comparison to other Pho stores but when you look at the size of your bowl and the amount of meat they slab on, its worth every cent!

Pretty good place to eat. the decor was fabulous the food was great, though the price was quite dear for a restaurant in the bankstown area. Their fried ice cream was good, again only the $9 pricetag was a worry!

Went here for a friends birthday and initially the waitress was bubbly and attentive, suggesting we should opt for a set menu so that way the food comes out at the same time at the expense of $35 per head including "unlimited drinks". Thereafter was a different story. the food took forever to arrive, the waiters were too busy serving other people who'd just come in, the food was atrocious. Never coming back!

Great food, though the complimentary garlic sauce was a bit disappointing and nowhere near as good as the authentic stuff, the chicken was lovely. crisp on the outside and juicy on the inside, just the way chicken should be cooked! Service however isnt spectacular but i dont expect much from them. Their decor hasnt changed for perhaps a decade and so those two are probably the major downfalls.
