Worst Hairdresser ever!

I was a walkin customer and was told to sit on a chair right away thinking they'll attend to me in the next 5-10 minutes. 20 minutes have passed and nothing. I was quoted a price initially and eventually as we went on my wash and blowdry ended up being $55 because a wave takes longer time than a dead straight blowdry, what? I hardly think so given my hair is pretty much straight and some other customers whose hair texture goes from curly to straight, you'd think that'll take more effort if anything?

The service was horrendous. It was as if [redacted due to personal identifier] plucked a bunch of apprentices from the local tafe and put them in the deep end as some of the staff didn't even know how to blowdry with a wave (I could have done it myself however paid for what i thought would be convenience that ended up being a major headache anyway).

Never again.

Approximate cost: $55

Great Cupcakes at a reasonable price! These are so much better than cupcakes on Pitt which are so dry and tasteless! I always come here on my lunch breaks and when i have cravings, this place never fails to disappoint!

Used this website the first time to purchase an obscure boardgame as a gift for a friend. Great service, great value (best price i could find online and at a specialty store). The item was personally delivered to me a few days after payment which was great!)

Went here to escape the queues during The Rocks Aroma Festival with a couple of friends. We asked the maitre'd guy in front of the store if there are any seats which clearly there are a few as it was visible from the shop front and he acted as though he'd have to go out of his way to accommodate for 7 of us. Strike one.

Despite this, we were seated and ordered our meals. The waitress who served us was very polite and attentive. However, the food is pretty stock standard and the premium we are paying is definitely due to the location, nothing to do with the food unfortunately.

I ordered the Salt and pepper calamari ($17) which was a tiny serving of 6 squid pieces. It came with a small salad side which i thought was delicious.

A beginner's guide to fine dining. The Apprentice is a training restaurant for students at TAFE doing cooking/hospitality courses to get some hands on training. The menus change on a daily basis (prepared by the students) and the dishes vary depending on seat arrangement.

The students are all on their best behaviours (they have to be as they are assessed on their performance by their supervisor), the food is delicious though with greater experience can be further improved. However at $27 for a four course meal, i could not complain. It is by far the best valued fine dining experience I've had to this day!

I have been here twice and have booked myself in for another 2 dinners in the coming months. Highly recommended!

I had really great expectations of this place as I have read so much about it. As a one hat restaurant I was quite disappointed by their performance foodwise and in terms of service. I booked a week ahead quoting the merivale three course menu and on the day was given a course feed. When I requested the three course option as I specifically stated over the phone, the waitress insisted there was no such menu when it is clearly labelled on their website.

Despite this, we ate our 2 course meals. Upon sitting on our tables, we were welcomed with complementary bread rolls and butter to get things started and wines to accompany our meals (I did not want wines, but they had already put two glasses on the table for us and felt it was rude to return them).

Our entree was a Confit of Shredded Pork Belly with Apple, Raddichio and Sorrel. It was lovely and the apple and sorrel was so refreshing and accompanied the dish very well. However, the serving size is a but questionable, though this might have been because we hadnt eaten anything all day.

Our second dish was a slow roast suckling pig with crushed peas and carrot puree. It was lovely too but we hoped for the serving size to be a tad larger.

I would be happy to come back again provided they get it right with the bookings and the fact that they should ask us whether or not we wanted wine.

I went here to get my hair cut here last month after having had my formal hair done here a few years back. This place is fantastic, the service is great, the decor is beautiful and the environment is very relaxed unlike the usual hairdressers i go to who are all rushing to get my hair done so they can serve the next customer. Although it is relatively expensive $85 a cut for long hair, you really do feel like a million bucks afterwards!

I purchased an Ice Cream maker featured on the Masterchef series last week from this website whilst they were offered a free shipping promotion which saved me $6.90. It was delivered to me within a matter of days. I am very pleased with their service and will be happy to repurchase from them in the future!

I have been to the Sphere restaurant twice now and I have to say, it is rather fantastic and unlike any other breakfast buffet i've been to in my area. There is plenty of variety from hot foods such as grilled mushrooms, sausages, bacon and eggs, grilled tomatoes to cereal and oats to your toasts and pastries. What I really liked about this place was their smoothie of the days. I had a unique concoction of ginger, honey and banana which didnt sound very appetising at first but when i tasted it i couldnt have guessed it had ginger in there. It was however very light and refreshing, a great pickmeup.

well recommended. and what's great is you dont have to have a room in the hotel to enjoy this breakfast (like myself!)

I went to madono with a couple of friends. She always takes me to these kinds of obscure places i wouldn't go to normally. We had some bento boxes filled with generous servings of sushi and sashimis and whatnot. It tasted great and was at a really reasonable price. Although there was only minimal staff at the time we went, they were very efficient.
