This review is for Chilli Joe Thai Cuisine, Campbelltown NSW

We had dinner here last week as we'd heard great things and the owners had previously run a very successful small restaurant themselves. Although the food was tasty, the ambience of the 'bowling club' is a bit of a downer plus we had chosen the 'banquet' menu but we ended up being charged 'per item' which was a little disappointing as I would've chosen different dishes. For a pretty quiet Thursday night, the service was quite slow as well. There's definitely better thai restaurants in Campbelltown.

I love going to Barenz, whether it's a morning stop for coffee, a relaxing lunch or dinner & drinks in the evening. Their menu & drink selection is very extensive & the staff are always helpful & accommodating. They are even child-friendly which is great for our family. Highly recommended!

This is a great little massage place when you're out shopping and need a 20min relax & recharge. Their prices are very reasonable and it's great that you can claim back on your private health insurance. Be warned - they are quite firm and if you're a bit of a sook, let them know to go easy on you.

Approximate cost: $20 for 20mins

This is my favourite place to stop for a coffee when I'm out shopping. The owner here makes the best soy cappuccino! They also have a massive selection of cakes - which I always drool over (but never order unfortunately). Although I do occasionally buy the kids a cupcake each when they've been behaving themselves. They love them. Highly recommend the coffee here though.

This is the store that made my engagement ring and our wedding rings. They are super professional, reasonably priced and happy to accomodate your every wish. I couldn't be happier with our jewellery. They have even offered to spruce up our jewellery with a free clean (which I'm yet to take advatage of - but I will). If you're after a special piece of jewellery I highly recommend House of K'dor.

This review is for Rhinedorf German Restaurant, Beverly Hills NSW

verified email - 04 Mar 2014

We recently dined at Rhinedorf and had the best pork knuckle for dinner. We have wanted to try this restaurant for so long and it definitely was worth the wait. The only problem with this restaurant is that it's on a very busy road with very limited parking. Try to go mid-week or as early as possible on the weekend otherwise you'll have to park a mile away. Their menu is decent but being 'german' food, what else do you need other than pork knuckle or schnitzel. They also have a good selection of german beers and wines and the dessert list is delicious. Unfortunately we couldn't fit in dessert - perhaps next time, we'll share a pork knuckle.

Approximate cost: $25 pork knuckle

I've been here a number of times now and had great meals everytime. It's especially great on a Sunday as 'kids eat free'. It's a fairly kid-friendly place with a seperate dining area away from the bar, as well as an outside area to drink and/or eat. They have live music too on the weekends and sitting on a lounge on a saturday or sunday afternoon with a nice cold beer after a good meal, listening to some music is really quite nice. Highly recommend this place.

This review is for Kings Charcoal Chicken, Kearns NSW

This is a great little charcoal chicken shop which is always busy at all hours of the day and they make the best hot chips ever! Their chickens are always freshly cooked and they have a great selection of salads and sides as well as fish, hamburgers and.... hot chips. Did I mention their hot chips are the best? Good prices and quick service make this a great place for a quick dinner when you're in a hurry.

Approximate cost: $13 charcoal chicken

This review is for Waminda Bakery, Campbelltown NSW

This is one of the best bakeries in Campbelltown. They have an amazing array of cakes, breads, pies, tarts etc baked fresh daily using fresh quality ingredients. They will even bake cakes or cupcakes to your specifications for birthday parties & special events. We ordered cupcakes for our daughters birthday and they were a total hit, not to mention, extremely reasonably priced. Totally recommend Waminda Bakery - especially when you need a sweet/carb hit.

Approximate cost: $3 cupcake

This is the best yum-cha restaurant outside of Sydney (or perhaps in Sydney for that matter). I've been here a few times now and the dumplings and mango pancakes are absolutley delicious. I'd love to come here for their a la carte menu for dinner but can't go past a visit at lunch for yum-cha. It is a massive restaurant and on weekends it's very busy. Best to come during the week and there's plenty of room. The service is fantastic and even when we take our little kids, the waiters and 'trolley ladies' always pay special attention to them. Yum, I want yum-cha now!

Approximate cost: $5
