I've taken my kids here a few times, although my youngest at the time (1 year old) hated it (it was very loud & he freaked!) but my 3 year old loves it. It is quite pricey for a 3 year old since she wasn't confident enough to play on the big climbing area and the big slide, but she had a ball nonetheless. There's even a carousel which they let kids ride every 30 mins. I'll be back again soon now the kids are a little older - hopefully they both get a little more out of it. It's unfortunate that you aren't allowed to bring your own food in here as I dislike buying junk food from cafes. Great place for kids parties and for kids around 5 years old.

Approximate cost: $12

This is my local butcher and they are great. Prices are so cheap compared to most butchers and supermarkets, their meat is always fresh and they have a great selection of meat eg chicken, beef, lamb, pork. Their beef eye fillet is the best and amazingly cheap - cut it in half, wrap it in bacon, throw it on the bbq = a restaurant quality meal for two!

Approximate cost: $eg $15p/kg rump steak

This review is for Nectar Day Spa, Campbelltown NSW

Nectar Day Spa is a beautiful relaxing place, especially when the husband buys you a gift voucher for one of their treatments. I've been here many times, for facials, massages, a hydrotherapy spa and pedicure. The staff make you feel comfortable & totally pampered. The products they use are high quality professional skin care products and you always walk out of there on clouds.

Approximate cost: $100 for a facial

This review is for Hinata, Airds NSW

For a quick sushi fix while out shopping, you'll definitely find something here at Hinata. My go-to lunch is a miso soup and mini tuna avocado rolls - all for $5! Their food is very fresh and they have an extensive selection of hot & cold dishes. Beats maccas any day.

Approximate cost: $5 miso & mini rolls

This review is for G Force Automotive, Narellan NSW

My husband and I have been taking our cars to G Force Automotive for a few years now as they are very professional, very efficient, honest (a rare thing for car mechanics!) and their prices are very reasonable (again a rare thing for car mechanics!). I've recently taken my car in for a major service and the price charged pales in comparison to what the car dealership would charge - by at least half. They always have the vehicle ready to be picked up exactly when they say it will be so there's never any waiting around. I've even taken my car in on an urgent spur of the moment pink slip check and they've done it on the spot. I recommend G Force for any car issue you have.

Approximate cost: $varies depending on work required - but major service including new spark plugs was $440

I love popping in here for lunch while shopping at Macarthur Square. The train is such a novelty... which is yet to wear off. My fave things are the crispy chilli salmon, California rolls and tuna/avocado mini rolls. Prices start at $2.50 a plate (bargain) and go up to $8.50 for the real fancy stuff. Most dishes (eg hand rolls) are $4 - $5. They also have an ala-carte menu featuring soups and other items such as teriyaki chicken which I'm yet to try but the dishes on the train are always too tempting to pass-up. The service is always fabulous and everyone is welcomed in happily as soon as you walk through the door. Definitely give Sushi Bay a try if you are there.

This review is for Dumaresq Street Cinema, Campbelltown NSW

This place has been around FOREVER and is still going strong! Why pay $20+ to see a new-release movie in one of the big cinema chains when you can come here and see exactly the same thing for $6 and spend a lot (LOT) less on the necessities - popcorn, coke & choc-top! The service has & is always top notch, it's super clean and they've recently installed new digital equipment to make the movie-going experience just as good as the expensive cinemas. I have even brought my 2 small children here and on occasion, have had the whole cinema to ourselves in non-peak periods. It's brilliant! I highly recommend Dumaresq St Cinema over all the others in the area.

Approximate cost: $6

This review is for CJ's Dancers, Narellan NSW

My daughter dances here and absolutely loves it! They have many classes throughout the week catering for all levels, ages and all types of dances including Tiny Tots, Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Hip Hop to name a few. The instructors are excellent, highly motivated and very professional. Their end-of-year concert is always fabulous and loads of fun for everyone. If you have a littlie (or biggie) who wants to dance, definitely give CJ's a go.

Approximate cost: $10 per lesson

This review is for Isabelle's Wood Fired Oven Pizzeria, Leumeah NSW

verified email - 04 Apr 2014

Isabelle's is one of my family's fave pizza places - either eating in or take away. Great menu selection & outstanding authentic wood-fired pizzas. Their garlic prawns, calamari, gnocchi and desserts are excellent too. Prices are very reasonable and the service is always top quality. We recently ordered takeaway pizzas on a busy Saturday night and they were ready to collect exactly when they said they would be. There's usually a ridiculous waiting time for busy pizza restaurants but Isabelle's knows how to keep their customers coming back time & time again.

Approximate cost: $20

Now this is one Thai restaurant in Campbelltown you have to try. Service is excellent and it's nice to see some different/more authentic dishes on a thai menu. We had soft shell crab for entrée and a delicious Choo Chee Seafood for main. They cater for kids - even making satay chicken sticks without spicy sauce and plenty of rice for everyone. Highly recommended & we'll definitely be back.
