I've been to this small cafe in Westfield Sydney a number of times now and I've enjoyed their coffee very much - it's served in a bowl rather than a cup or mug which is a little funky. They have a rather large menu considering it is a smallish cafe including hot and cold drinks, breakfast items, lunch dishes along with freshly baked breads, croissants, cakes & slices - to name a few. I did have the waffles last time I was there and thoroughly enjoyed it - especially the chocolate sauce (yum), although some cream or ice cream on the side would've made it 10/10. I highly recommend this place if you want to catch up with friends for a quiet coffee or meal.

We came across this small bar on Saturday night hidden back on Clarence Street Sydney. Had you not known about it, you'd walk past the alleyway & entry very easily. We were very tempted to try a few of their cocktails but it was too busy and there were no chairs or tables available so we gave the drink a miss. A shame as the place was very cool & the drinks menu looked delicious and reasonably priced. The bar looked very well stocked with many exotic whiskeys, rums, liqueurs etc. We will definitely try it again although we'll remember to get there earlier next time.

We stumbled upon this small bar on Saturday night. We were the only ones there so the wait/bar staff really looked after us & guided us through their extensive cocktail menu. After we arrived several other groups did turn up but we were glad to have some peace to begin with. Very funky & quirky with a voodoo/witchdoctor theme. About time Sydney had some of these hidden gems.

This place is amazing! You'd never know it even existed had you not heard of it & walked past the door on Clarence Street Sydney. It's like walking into another world! We only popped in on Saturday night and had one cocktail but it was the best cocktail I've ever had! Will definitely be back soon to test out a few other beverages along with some food - which also looked very yummy. Highly recommend everyone to go & check this place out.

This review is for Helm Bar, Surfers Paradise QLD

While staying in Surfers Paradise recently we dined and drank at Helm Bar numerous times. It was close to our apartment, reasonably priced and had different deals on everyday eg kids eat free one night, $8 cocktails another night. It was very child-friendly with free use of ipads and colouring-in packs. Although there were only 2 high-chairs in the whole restaurant which was the only bummer (another family basically swiped the one we had been using straight from us - very rude). The meals were outstanding. I highly recommend this place.

We recently went to Movieworld on the 2nd January - big mistake! It was so hot & so busy. I would definitely not recommend coming here at such a peak time - especially with little kids. Hubby & I waited around 40 mins for the Superman rollercoaster (which was pretty good) and prob the same wait for Arkham Asylum rollercoaster (which was AWESOME!). We also took the kids on a couple of little kiddie rides but apart from that, that's all we did. The line-up & wait for the other rides & the shows was ridiculously long & there was barely any shade so we couldn't do anything else. Thankfully we got a buy 3 VIP Tickets get 1 free which gives you 6 months access to Movieworld, Seaworld & WetnWild - which worked out pretty good value for our family.

My family and I recently stayed here for 5 nights over New Years and it was fantastic! From the booking & the reservations department to check-in and our 2 bedroom/2 bathroom apartment overlooking the ocean - it was all fantastic. There is a gym, a massive 'beach' pool, easy access to shops & restaurants underneath the towers plus close to Cavill Avenue - you couldn't ask for anything more. I highly recommend Towers of Chevron Renaissance and we will definitely stay here again.

My family & I had a blast on the Aquaduck while on holidays in Surfers Paradise recently. We got to see a lot of the Gold Coast's streets, beaches & landmarks both on land (driving through the streets) and on water (diving into the river up near Seaworld). The kids had a great time as they even had a chance to drive the duck while on the river. Plus they got a certificate afterwards. I highly recommend Aquaduck to everyone.

This is the freshest & cleanest seafood shop in the area and the staff are always so helpful. They have the best salmon fillets as they leave the yummy bit on the end (most shops now cut this off - so disappointing!). Unfortunately the price of salmon (& most other seafood) is a put-off so I don't shop here as often as I'd like but I always stop by for a look. Will definitely be getting our xmas prawns from there this year.

Ally have very reasonably priced womens clothes from everyday outfits to work wear to evening wear. I always manage to find something in this store that suits what I'm after - especially last minute shopping.
