We only have a handful of video games places in the local area and I know that this is part of large franchise, however,I do enjoy coming and seeing what is on offer. The main reason I like coming in here is the fact that the guys that work behind the counter actually play games and know what they are talking about. Gamers selling games to gamers and that is the way it should be!
New release games are the general retail price that you will find elsewhere but every now and then you will find a cheaper price to the competitors and these guys will also price match if you ask. You can sometimes find a steal on preowned games as well - I thought $12.00 for Brutal Legend was too good to leave.
I am not sure of the trade in values as I don't tend to trade games or consoles :)

Sadly, with the growth of the big video hire franchises there are very few locally owned video stores like this one. It is hard to beat the personal service and friendliness of a family owned business and this is no exception, the staff here do what they can to ensure that you keep coming back.
There is a pretty good selection of latest releases on DVD, Blu-Ray and also video game consoles including PS3, 360 and Wii. You can still hire PS2 games, These guys also offer a laminating service and a great disc repair service for $5 that I have used several times with great effect. They have even had some obscure DVD titles for hire that I have not been able to find locally.
They offer great deals such as 1 new release and 5 weekly hires for $10 which can include movies and/or games. This would make them the cheapest game hire place in the local area. They also sell preowned games and movies and there are some great bargains to be had.

I still call this place "The Slug and Lettuce" as I think it was a great name. It may now be called "Coops" but it still provides great quality meals and great prices. The staff are generally friendly and it is a warm and cosy environment where they don't hurry you out and it is a place I can relax in-between jobs.
Meals are usually served quite quickly and their homestyle pies are a must to try. The coffee and hot chocolate is hot.
Lunch meals are around the $15-$16.00 mark, Coopers Pies are $13.90 with great chips and salad, the kid are catered for with meals costing $7.50. They can also cater for functions. There are some renovations going on at present but this does not detract from the great quality and service that I have come to expect. It will be interesting to see what they have planned for us next?

Due to my hobbies which include collecting video games, consoles and movies I frequent this establishment almost weekly. Each time I go Marika, Cathy and the rest of the team are always friendly and try and meet the customers needs. They work hard and enjoy a bit of a joke with each other and their customers as well. The staff go out of there way to cut you a good deal or to keep an eye out for something that you may be after. Many bargains have been found here!
