Nice, older style pub in the North Sydney CBD.

Good selection of on tap beer AND a great wine list, 3 bars (upstairs, downstairs and outside). Also has a bistro AND a restaurant (same kitchen, different menus), it does become a bit of a noisy dive on a Friday night (like every where), but most others its a nice relaxed atmosphere for the locals.

Standard JB Hi-Fi, nothing out of the ordinary.

Staff are nice, 'hard' media range could be a lot better (Ok if your after Katy Perrys latest musical abortion) but if your after anything that isn't mainstream you will struggle to find what your after, the AV stuff is quite good and if you're a good enough negotiator you will get a great price. The staff in the AV sections are 10x better than the hard media staff.

Great lunch haunt. Always a line, this is a GOOD thing. Nice selection of classic lunches, good roast meats and veges, chicken schnitzel, chips, lasagne etc. Also do a mean breakfast roll with scrambled eggs and bacon.

Approximate cost: $10

Not bad, quality can be a little variable (especially with the roast meats), but overall its usually pretty good and the selections of salads (at lunch at least) are quite good. The cost is a little on the steep side, considering your paying an extra $3 or so when compared to an equivalent shop.

Service is reasonable.

Approximate cost: $10 - 15

Great classic Chinese BBQ. There are more of these places in Chatswood than anywhere I've seen. The fact this is best of them and constantly has a line up (of people with Chinese heritage) says a lot. Only take-away.

Approximate cost: $10
