I was feeling quite hungry after an early medical appointment and stopped for a bread and drink around the area of Blackburn South. I thought the bakery will be a good option for my hurried appetite. While there are not much selections, I got some raisin pastries. The fresh pastry itself was quite oily that it soaked the paperbag- had to turn it around to un-oil it. Pretty unimpressive but that is why it is pretty cheap too. The bloke at the shop was friendly enough, the quality of the bake goody is not a wow and could have a bit of improvement. More variety will also perhaps entice some business.

We were having a general cleaning for an open house coming that weekend and got this service upon recommendation of my sister-in-law. The quote came reasonably well-with carpet steam, bathroom,toilet and laundry clean, kitchen and room cupboards, benchtops and skirtboards with floors mopped in and out. The job was done in a snap and just in time for the open day.

Was meeting friends who recommended this place for a light lunch in the Uni of Melbourne area. This was our meeting place and liked the ambience of a warehouse turned into a dining hall with all the choices of coffee, pasta, cakes, hot meal dishes for a very reasonable price! Had the chance to enjoy lunch in an unassuming conveniently located place as we had some errands to do in the city!

We were craving for some breads from the Philippines and were happy that a friend recommended us where to find this bakery when we were traveling in Melbourne. Was so glad to get the buns and rolls and some sweet breads! May not for the usual taste buds but definitely a treat for us.We also found out they dustribute their breads to Asian shops around Victoria-great!

We were doing a big home clean up so we hired a bin. We wanted a company that can recycle some of the things and not just dump it in the tip so we got this service. The bin was there in no time and we were able to clear out the house with much consideration to the environment too as they can reuse,recycle some of the hard wastes.

We rolled up one day to find that our hot water service if not working. We got them as they have been around in the business for many years in the local area. They came promptly and our pilot light on the hot water system had to be replaced. No big dramas, hot water was back in no time

Our nephew had a bad flu attack and we had to take him over. It was good to know that there is an accessible clinic after hours without necessarily being in the hospital emergency. The doctor goes from 8-1130pm Mon to Fri and even Saturdays 1pm-11:30pm, sun and holidays 12 md-1130pm. It certainly reassured us that we are in good hands if we need to have sudden consults.

I had an emergency where my front tooth crown fell off. I had to get an emergency treatment and found him in the area. He was very good and addressed the problem well at once. I did not have to wait much longer which was good as I needed to be in an interview the next day. He knew what he was doing and took me through the procedure. My crown was good as new!

The family have used Mr Powell and his company for years for legal needs. He does the job as expected and does things matter of factly. He is helpful with his advise and does the work for our needs with no big hassle as he is just around the local area, conveniently located.

Visiting a cousin in the area and explored their shopping complex and found this Filipino shop that was very well presented and had a variety of products that I use for cooking some dishes. It was a treat to see as sometimes many Asian shops do not have much stocks or some condiments unavailable.This shop is so good and the shop keeper was friendly too.
