First time I've been there, was very impressed with the quality and freshness of ingredients on display, and cooked in front of customers. Staff thorough with taking details, even as I had ordered a "special" non-menu item. Pricing was quite reasonable, and ample parking available. Dine in or take away.

take away shop in the k-mart complex, all large pizzas $7.90. i'm a firm believer in the adage "you get what you pay for" when it comes to cheap pizzas (dominos - yuk!). however, i was pleasantly surprised by the quality of these. vast array on the menu, ranging from satay to tabasco specials. fairly quick service, and a good option for a reasonably priced feed.

no-one enjoys the dentist ... but this place makes the visit as comfortable as can be possible. the waiting room, not that you'll be there long, is equipped with coffee, tea, video game (4 the kids), etc and is comfy. the staff are very efficient and very time conscious. the staff will be very explicit in what is required, and the treatments are thorough. not the cheapest dentist around, but well worth the extra dollars.

have tried quite a few pizza joints in the vicinity and this is easily the best. the bases are what makes a good pizza, and these are good. very fresh ingredients, and very generous in the amount of topping. what impresses me the most is that they cook the pizzas properly, until the outer of the crust is just ever so slightly blackened. nothing worse than undercooked dough. service is fairly quick, even on their busy nights.

have had lunch there a few times and always been satisfied. quality of food is ok, variety just a little lacking. coffee has always been top notch, and although i've never tried it, the breakfast menu looks fine. the seating is great, situated in an arcade where the constant flow of pedestrian traffic is neither obtrusive or a distraction. the service has always been quite good.

coffee was good, food quite expensive but ok. mostly outdoor seating and the location isn't quite right .. not the vibrant street atmosphere of the Carlton or Prahran coffee shops. service was poor, queue inside to be served and mill around in there until your number is called and carry your own drinks back outside. very "coles cafeteria" of the 70's .. and very awkward to manovoure around when it's crowded.

fantastic food, baked fresh daily. the rolls they prepare are generously filled with top quality ingredients and moderately priced. can be made to order if desired. vast array of cakes and danishes, all very tempting. pies and pastries are also available in many varieties. a very pleasant cafe to enjoy a coffee and cake, or something more substantial. staff are wonderful, very friendly and helpful.

had been a regular patron for years, but they have recently changed hands (i think) and it has gone so far downhill. prices went up 10% across the board, serving size went down. a main serve of honey chicken ($11) consisted of 8 pieces of chicken and a tub of very watery honey and sesame sauce. fried rice was lacking in ingredients and quite oily. that was 3 months ago and haven't returned.

good supermarket, have just upgraded all the trolleys - no more clunky wheels! not the biggest supermarket around, but it has what is needed and not aisles upon aisles of stationery, clothes, electrical goods, etc. just groceries, which is how it should be. the staff are always willing to assist and friendly.

noodle bar, catering mainly for take-away but they do have stools and benches fronting the windows. very fresh ingredients, cooked very quickly to retain the "crispyness" in the vegetables and an extensive variety of traditional sauces. Extremely clean and always greeted with a welcoming smile from staff.
