This is our regular weekend breakfast destination. The food is yummy and the coffees aren't bad. Sometimes the service can be a bit lousy, but it has picked up it's game lately with some energetic new staff. There are better coffees in the area, but we like this place because of the food and it is a great place to hang out in the sunshine with the dog.

This place is great for coffee lovers. They roast and blend their own coffee and while their stuff is not Certified Organic these guys know all about where their coffee comes from and make sure they only buy beans and products which are ethical and environmentally friendly. But best of all, the coffee tastes great! These guys are passionate about their coffee!
The cafe is well set up and decorated in an IKEA type way, they have a courtyard and will soon have tables out the front (good for dog owners) when Gardenvale Road is finished being resurfaced.
There is a small, simple menu, with lots of little sweet treats to have with your coffee too. A great addition to Gardenvale Road!

Super food and a cute venue. I only go to places where I can take my dog, so this place is almost perfect. The only problem on my visit was the service. The staff are friendly enough, though they got our order wrong. We ordered coffee and breakfast and only the coffee arrived. About an hour after we had finished our coffees (we were deep in conversation!) I asked if our meals would arrive soon. The waitress then realised she had forgotten to give our order to the kitchen! A good waiter would have asked if we were OK or if we wanted to order anything else after half an hour or so. The meal was at least another 15-20 minutes. When I started eating (it was delicious!) I asked for a piece of toast to go with my breakfast. You'd think that would be a quick thing to make. Not so. When we had finished and I went up to pay, I saw my toast coming out. I should have said forget about it, but I was still hungry, so I went back to my table and ate the toast. And how much did that extra piece of toast I asked for cost? $12! Yes it came with jam and butter, but what a rip-off!
I will try this place again, as the coffees are great and the food tasty. I guess it is Brighton, so supposed to be expensive.

They are very caring and happy to spend time during consultations or on the phone to answer all your questions. My very nervous dog has never been anxious to visit this vet - she gets treats every time! They have also been considerate of financial restrictions and given advice on alternatives if you can't afford a certain treatment.

Yum, healthy burgers with a smile. What more can you ask for? They even take phone orders so you don't have to wait.

This is my local take-away pizza joint. I have tried all the pizza in the area and this one is by far the best.

I love this place! I love that when I need a massage I can generally get an appointment straight away. They are open til late 7 days too. The decor of the spa is really nice, you feel like you are treating yourself, but the cost is very reasonable. My first massage was pretty great, but the next time it was AMAZING! I love it when you find the right massage therapist for you! You are greeted at the door when you walk in that then given a choice of tea or coconut juice as you choose your massage oil. You are then invited to come through to the next room where you are given slippers to wear. They then wash your feet before your massage begins. My whole experience at Thai Soul Massage was wonderful and I felt amazing after. Completely de-stressed.

I was so nervous choosing a new hairdresser but was assured on the phone that John would be perfect for me. And he was! He cut my fine hair beautifully first time. I will definitely be going back. Not the cheapest hairdresser, but worth it for a great cut and comparable to others of this quality.
