John did some work for a renovation we were doing on an apartment. After getting rid of a previous electrical contractor who lacked integrity and was not very knowledgable, John came in and fixed his mistakes and completed the job for me in a timely manner and at value for money rates. Thank you John, I'll have no hesitation referring him in the future.
Updates for Kitchens have installed two kitchens for me in the past couple of years. The people there are very friendly and were on top of things at every point - from quotation right through to the final installation. The pricing is extremely competitive and represents excellent value for money. I've recommended their services to family and friends who are also happy with their quality and service.

After reading the excellent reviews on WOMOW we decided to try this place for dinner on a Saturday night as we always like a good Indian meal. The service was friendly was warm, there was some live music which added to the atmosphere and the importantly, the food was excellent. We had the tandoori platter which offered a great selection of meat dishes. We also had the palak paneer which was delicious. The naan and roti breads were authentic style. Overall we had a great meal and will definitely be going back. They also offer a free delivery service within the local area.

Walked in to this place for the first time recently having walked passed it many times. Was looking for a quality gift for a chocolate lover. Service left room for improvement - a customer who walked in after me was served before me. Not a good start. Wanted a nice gift pack so chose a box to fill with goodies from the front glass. Having done this was very disappointed to open the paper bag to present the gift to find that the box had no sticker/branding of either the shop Schokolade or the chocolates (Chocolatier). Will be purchasing from Koko Black or Haigh's in the future.
Quality of food generally (not always) good. Service is hit and miss, seems to depend what mood the staff are in. If you like hot food (and I mean really hot food) give it a try. Prices are average, if you are after a better value eating experience, walk a little further down the street - there are numerous options!
We went for an event, the Sunday Tapas Feast which included entrees, (10) different tapas dishes and wine tastings and also a cheese platter. What a great way to sample what the chef has to offer! The food was very good. My favourite was the dates with blue cheese and chilli and wrapped in proscuitto. Yum!! The barramucdi was delicious as was the baba ganoush. The wines were good, personally I preferred the liquers. The views were fantastic and the service from everyone outstanding!! Friendly, knowledgable and welcoming. Can highly recommend to anyone wishing to have a great dining experience with family and/or friends.
This is a relatively new hotel on St Kilda Rd. Excellent facilities, service and amenities. If staying on the weekend, the parking in the surrounding streets are free as metered parking is Mon-Fri only. The hotel features artwork from Charles Blackburn. The room I stayed in had views of Albert Park Lake as well as the ocean. Will definitely stay here again. The room had microwave facilities, fridge, sink, large LCD TV with many Foxtel channels as well as free to air HD channels. Check various travel websites for the best available rate. Late checkout was 1pm and the room had a gift of a small canvas and paint set - nice touch.
This place used to do a good Yum Cha. I drove past the other day and noticed is has changed names - must be under new management.....
This is a vegetarian restaurant with an "All you can eat" option for dining complete with breads, rice, mains, butttemilk and desert. This comes with many different items and you can then top-up whatever is to your liking. It is authentic Gujrati style cuisine, hence the name. There is limited seating inside and it is recommended that you book a table on the weekends. I prefer to dine-in rather than have take-away, as it almost feels like you are being served a home cooked meal.

Fast and efficient with standard choices - my favourite is the fried kuay teow. The staff are very enthusiastic and always smiling and leave me in a cheery mood whenever I visit. There is limited seating inside for a quick lunch. Lunch time deal comes with a free can of drink.
