Staying nearby we took a cruise down to the beach for sunrise. Hung around to see what this kiosk was like and waited until it opened. Its right on the beach so handy, toilets, outdoor tables and seats, clean. Coffee, hot food, cold drinks. We sat for coffee and chips ,not bad prices and not bad coffee. Hubby had a salted caramel milk from the fridge,i also had choc brownie milk was nice. Ladies there were friendly and chatty. Great location.

We needed a few things for our rd trip and i found our snacks here. Great store, lots of choice for a small shop. Staff were helpful, parking is ok outside. A bit of hot food in hot boxes is great for on the run. Ended up,buying the snax we needed for $14. Country service is a pleasure

Quaint ,old tourist attraction thats quite interesting . Strange craters ,not a lot to do,souvenirs, walk around the craters and the old shed full of machinery long gone. Toilets and outdoor seating. Fairy gardens needs a bit of revamping, things need painting amd brightening up.
Climb the tower to listen to the craters story. It is fascinating. Small, fee goes to the upkeep i assume

We did the tour at last!
Bery interesting, the museum, the bottles on the wall, love the souvenirs and the info is in half barrels you can walk thru, novel. Huge wall of bottles and the tour takes you thru the making of the rum frim the sugar stage, partner loved the taste tests at the end. Great bar and surrounding, tours go on the hr, 2 very friendly guides we had. Parking outside is huge, have your pic taken with the bundy bottle and go nuts in the shop. $28 ,book online that gets a 5% discount ending uo around the $28 partner bought a lovely history book and very soft bundy fur tinnie holder. Even if you dont drink its still imteresting and entertaining

Nice little bakery we came by driving past and hungry for breakfast at 10:30 lol
Nice large store,clean,bright and friendly
I ordered a cheese n bacon pie and lartner had a pepper one.
Pies were a little smaller than what we are used to,cheese could be a bit more abundant in mine, partner liked his pepper one, found them a bit gelentanous though and we bought 2 new milks by barista bros
Cakes all looked lovely, tho again so small for $5 for an eclair. Tables and chairs to sit inside and we sat at the bench at the front window. All up $16 was ok for brekkie

Family were friendly and we chose boysenberry for me ,so creamy and beautiful flavour. Partner had salted caramel and pigged out being his first time there and had the nugget crunch as well and he was very impressed in between the mmmmms this is good comments lol small tubs are $6 and larger were $13 i think. You wont be disappointed

Great old fashioned style fish n chips. No 6 types of fish to choose its just fish n chips ,burgers and extras.
Very small shop ,stepping back into the 70s,apparently its been here since before time lol about 20 years I think they said. Nice asian couple, cooked quickly,we asked for 2 fish n chips and potato scallops, cant help myself, nothing was greasy, crispy thin batter, thick tasty fish, beer battered chips thick cut were brilliant, loved them and so cheap $17 for us both. Was recommended by a friend who used to be a local, was perfect

Approximate cost: $17

Great little takeaway we found whilst staying close by.
Ooens from 10:30 am till around 7:30 depending on customers. Phone orders taken too.
We tried this last sunday night and the place is small clean and easy to find.staff were lovely.
Lots of phone orders picked up whilst we waited.
We ordered fish n chips for 2 and potato scallops
Service was quick, seats outside to eat at as well or walk a min to the beach
The fish had a lovely thin crispy batter and was a thick piece of cod . Scallops were nice ,batter wasnt thick which I hate. Golden chips. Not greasy. Decent prices too
They have a few very different burgers, archie and others which sounded great. Very happy with the food and service.

A 2 day getaway staying here was not as expected. Was very quiet seeing as it was a hotel.
Rooms are at back.
Beds were comfy, staff were friendly when you could find them. Perfect location with a minutes walk to the beach and shops.
The rooms we had tho werent up to standard by any level.
One rooms door knob was about to fall off and that made the key difficult to get it open. Took 3/4 min just to try and get the door open. The mattress was almost collapsed on the edge where everyone sits on it and a very hard spring or piece of metal stuck into your leg or parts of you when you sat down and hurt.
The other room wow.
No smoke alarm,part was missing
Carpet had huge stains very unappealing
Ants all over the microwave and the bench it was on
The kettle was so brown and disgusting that I put a piece of tissue in to see it if was stain or what and it came out brown!
Microwave was clean at least.
Curtains had clips missing that hold it to the rod so lots of light gaps at night
Smokers area from hotel was right outside a few rooms which wasnt a good idea as we could smell the smoke.
The shower was very small so if you are tall or big u will have problems.
If you want somewhere cheap and close to everything its good but three stars it isnt
The pub part was ok,they have food and pokies, not alot open around there at night so they have the monopoly.
Personally I wouldnt stay there again . No smoke alarm really put me off.

Approximate cost: $75

Such a lovely place to have lunch anytime.
Love the sushi train style serving or you can order and have it brought to you.
The tempura prawns are succulent,i love the wagyu. The rice is always fresh and tasty. Couldnt ask for better, prices start near $5 . Parking in the huge carpark of the centre.
Always clean and well lit
