I recently went to Dawsons to get some fertiliser and rose food the staff are always helpfull and give good advise to whatever you ask i have bought plants from them before and have had no problems they have good healthy plants mine are thriving well.

I Have been using bluegum travel for several years for overseas hollidays and they are great nothing is to much trouble and you are always greeted with a smile. they are very efficiant and competitive you are gauranteed of a trouble free holliday.

I love the fish and chips from here the fish is not greasy and you get a good serve of chips for your order you can phone in your order which saves standing around and they are prompt at getting you're order on time very pleasant phone manner and the staff are always cheerfull. Their premises are very clean and staff hygene handling food is very good.

I just love this place they have the most mouth watering cakes
any type you want they have mud cake cheese cake backed cheese cake pavlovers tortas fruit flans and more if you like two types of cake you can get halfe of one and half of another the owner is very pleasant she will write on a cake for you if you wish and they are reasonably priced.

I love comming here hubby love to bet and and have a few beers with his mates its a great place to catch up with friends the meals are delicious and generous servings drinks are well priced and the management mix with the customers on the other side of the bar so you feel welcome. And the atmosphere is always good .

I have bought my fish and aquarium supplies fom here and found the owners and staff to be friendly and informative they have a good range of fish to choose from and all healthy anything you need to set up your tank or pond they have they also stock some beautifull aquariums i love going there i have learnt alot about how to take good care of my fish i found them very helpfull.

I go here every day for my newspaper and also do my lotto and get my magazines there they are always happy and greet you when you come in the shop he always has time for a chat it makes you feel welcome he has a good range of magazines cards and i have won quite a few scratchies from here not big but very happy to win anything these days as they say just one power ball

the Southern River Tavern is a Quiet little Pub where the locals like to gather to catch up and have a bet or two the staff are always smiling and dont leave you waiting for a drink.the bottle shop is well stocked with a good variety of alcohol. they will let you use the lounge for functions at a very reasonable rate. I have been to several functions there without any trouble and you are free to decorate the room as you please they are very easy going .

I have been going to this chemist over twenty years they orriginaly were at ashburton village which is now closed the staff are always friendly and ready to help nothing is to much trouble the head chemist will take time to give advice or explain anything you are not sure about your medication. the shop also stocks a variety of goods if you are looking for a present for someone they truly are the family chemist.
