Decided to get my hair straightened again after 2 years. I was in Strathfield Plaza area and decided to canvass for a good price for Shiseido Japanese Straightening. Some quoted over $300 for my just above shoulder length hair. Found Black Cat Salon across the road from the Plaza. They quoted $175 and decided to go ahead. Booked appointment for the following week. Very accommodating staff. The lady who attended to me was very nice. Her name was Eva. I saw the Mucota treatment on the day and decided to add it on for an additional $70. Treatment lasted 3 hours. I was offered tea. The rest of the staff were nice too. My hair was very soft and looked great after everything and it smelled nice. There's on site toilet. The only thing I would suggest would be foot stools as sitting upright for 3 hours can make your legs strain. Otherwise, great job Black Cat. I'll definitely come back.

Visited Crow's nest in 2011 with voucher and I was attended to like a full paying customer. Taitaa was my hairdresser and I wanted to cut my hair really short at the time and he did a great job. I would have returned there but location was not convenient for me. Today I went to The Macquarie Centre salon. I was waiting for this shop to open a long time as I really liked the Crow's Nest experience. The gentleman who welcomed me (sorry I couldn't pronounce your name) seated me straightaway, served me with tea, lollies and water and placed a stack of magazines for me to read. The shampoo and head massage that followed was great and relaxing. Anthony did my hair cut and blow dry. He did an excellent style. The staff are courteous and salon clean. They have a cabinet to store bags for safety. Will definitely come back.
