Went into EB Games, Ingle Farm looking for Big Fish Games, as BFG in Seattle, USA have discontinued supplying back up CDs with their on line orders I was looking for a local source. Although this store had a limited stock, I did manage to acquire same good titles. The chap who served us was very helpful and most obliging with his information and service. We will be visiting this store again when seeking more games.

I went into EB Games at TTP looking for a retail outlet for Big Fish Games. As BFG in Seattle, USA have discontinued supplying back up CDs with their orders, I was looking for a local, easy to source outlet. Although EB Games did not have the extensive range as the online source, they did have some good titles that I was looking for and at a reasonable price. The chap that served us was courteous and very helpful discussing their involvement and continuation of supply and led us to the area where we could browse and select. Very informative and friendly staff - we will definitely be returning to this store.

Attended the Modbury Tennis Club as a guest of a friend and member and was rather surprised at the facilities. It has 8 courts and a comfortable club rooms with soft and alcoholic drinks available. Inter club matches are played on Saturdays and Tuesday nights. It was a pleasant evening last Tuesday night watching the matches in the cool of the evening. A number of teams were short of players or had teams forfeiting for lack of players so it appears that they are always looking for new members.

Went to Flight Centre, Munno Para to book our flights to and from the Gold Coast. My sister in law had been to this business before (see review Lorrainec6 below) so we let her do most of the talking. The manager Luke Graham was the person who attended to us and I was amazed at the knowledge and expertise that he showed whilst attending to us. He was polite, courteous and very helpful and had our flight booked in pretty quick time. All the information and tickets were printed out while we waited and every thing was finalised with out a hitch or any problems. As the other reviewer stated "why would you want to do all this work yourself online when you have experts who can do it all for you. We will return.

Went to the opposition to get some supplies for my watering system. Plenty of 4mm hose but not many connectors eg. "T" pieces or "elbows". I thought it quite stupid to have 4mm hose but no 4mm accessories to go with it. They had plenty of 6mm connectors and no 6mm hose only 5mm plastic tubing. Not what I required.Went to Stratco, Gepps cross and found exactly what I wanted in clearly marked aisles and bins. I also managed to find other connectors that I had been looking for for weeks, 13mm hose and tap connectors. Next time I will go to Stratco first then Bunnings if Stratco haven't got it, which I now doubt.

We normally buy our pizzas from an Ingle Farm pizza place but we received Vincenzo's brochure and price list in the post and decided to give them a try. The brochure stated that if we spent a minimum of $25 the delivery would be free. On ordering, this statement seemed to be incorrect and as we thought Vincenzo's would be quite a deal cheaper that our regular venue but we discovered that this in fact would turn out to be about the same price. Nothing gained here. The pizzas them selves were not the worst we have tried and were not the best either. The crust was thinner, and there was decidedly less filling, a big loss here, but other wise tasted O.K. So after an incorrect statement on the menu and the amount of filling and crust it was an easy decision to return to Gigi's pizzas our regular supplier.

Went looking for a spare battery for my new digital camera as the shop from where I purchased it did not stock spare batteries. I tried a number of well known computer and camera stores but no luck. One place told be they could order one in but it would cost about $99 - I only paid $118 for the camera so that was not an option. The battery Bar was recommended to me so I found them in Adelaide Arcade. They had a battery in stock which was not an authentic make but at nearly one third the price was a better proposition. The chap who served me was very friendly and helpful and suggested that I try the battery in the camera (which I had with me) to make sure that it functioned properly. It did. This gesture together with various questions that I asked him were answered most satisfactorily which made me think that this kind of service is extremely valuable to the customer. I will definitely be returning to this store and thoroughly recommend them to any one requiring any type of battery for any application.

I went to Dick Smiths, Ingle Farm a few days after Christmas to purchase a new digital camera only to find the store closed and a note on the door saying they were closed due to staffing issues. I returned there soon after and the store was open. I went in and began looking at the cameras on display. Only a few minutes later a friendly young lad asked if could be any assistance. I told him what I wanted and although he was only relieving at this store from the TTP store he was extremely helpful and obliging. He answered all my questions and in no time I had the camera that I wanted plus a carrying case. I cannot speak too highly about this store in general and this young lad in particular. The service and the friendly and courteous attitude of the staff is to be complimented and as I said in an earlier review, I will definitely be returning to this store.

We were offered a free hearing test at the above location so we booked our appointments and had our tests. The receptionists were happy, friendly and courteous and put us at ease immediately. After a very short wait we were invited into a small room by an equally friendly and courteous consultant. Colin proceeded with the tests explaining each step as he went and between a bit of comical banter the test were completed quickly and professionally. He found that I could benefit by having a more detailed scan and put in motion the steps needed to apply for this service, also free. A very clean and friendly environment, no need for fear or trepidation here if and when you ever need hearing advice.

This hotel is one of the largest in the area and is a bright and roomy establishment. There is a good range from the menu including salads, hot meals, kids serves and seniors discounts. There is also a discount from Travel Auctions if you show your key from the Lazy River Motel. The meals are adequate and not that large but satisfying and tasty and fill in a gap. The wines are also reasonably priced and a good range. We have been here before and we will visit again.
