I've been going to Second Avenue on and off for a few years. I went there the other day for a blow wave and now have no idea why I don't go there every time. The girls are lovely and my blow wave was stunning. I've been very happy when I've had my highlights and cuts done there as well. Iris is especially great!!
Delicious and authentic. The food is very high quality, but they don't have menus so it's helpful if you have knowledge of Greek food and know what you like. Otherwise they're happy to make recommendations. The waiters are very friendly and have fun. The only downside is it's a bit expensive, as all Greek restaurants seem to be. Lastly, it's always very busy so make a reservation!

The most authentic crepes I've had! It's owned by French people so they know what they're doing, and they have a huge range of sweet and savoury crepes.
Typical beauty salon, but I like them because they're one of the few places you can purchase Emergin C skin care products, which are amazing!
Everything about the place is great! Lovely, friendly service, amazing value, delicious, fresh sandwiches, a large variety of hot food and sweets, and it goes on. Highly recommended!

While the set up is great, especially the outdoor patio, the service is terrible. We were only given one menu (between four), as they did not have enough, and when more became available they were given to another table that had arrived after us. They were pushy to get us to order, and once we had we waited almost an hour for our food. On the plus side, the food was incredible, despite being too pricey for what it was. We were so disappointed with the service we would have loved not to have paid. Also it's not BYO, which loses many points in my book.

A lovely little French bakery chain. There's a range of savoury and sweet items and the coffee is good. It's a bit expensive, but the donuts are the best I've ever had!
A little Asian bakery. They have a range of hot food, drinks and sweets, but best of all is their rolls. For around $3 you can get a yummy chicken and salad roll, among others. It's always busy at lunchtime.

A nice cafe with a pretty outdoor courtyard. The food is good and the staff are friendly, but sometimes mix up orders.
The food is consistently delicious and good quality. The prawns are always cooked perfectly, and the staff are lovely. The wine list is very small however, and they don't usually serve sparkling wine.
