Omega is one of the best driver instruction services out there, I would recommend them to any parent or learner driver. My experience included alot of very intensive instruction and they also offer a fantastic pre-licence defensive driving course, which is invaluable for a learner driver. I found that my instructor felt personally responsible for making sure he was helping to pass competent young drivers, not reckless ones with bad habits. Omega is also a family owned business with alot of experience behind them, and it shows. I personally felt that they would put in as much time as I needed and really prided themselves on providing the best service and training.

I have been a patient here for 26 years. Over this time I haven't had any major health problems, but Dr Peter Fletcher, my doctor has been exceptionally thorough in his treatment of me, and explored every possible avenue if he even suspected that a medical problem might need closer examination.

In 1990 Dr. Fletcher took a phone call from my grandmother. After describing her symptoms, he advised her order an ambulance and 2 hours after her arrival she had a heart attack that would have killed her if not for Dr Fletcher, who took her concerns seriously and made sure she sought treatment. He was responsible for saving my grandmothers life on several occasions over the last 10 years of her life.

The other partners at the practice have been selected on the basis of their background and skills, and to my knowledge they don't employ locums. I would highly recommend the clinic, but especially Dr Fletcher for his exceptional level of medical knowledge and care.

This review is for Oriental & Thai Cafe And Sushi Bar, Carina Heights QLD

My last visit to this restaurant was two years ago. I had ordered from here prior to that visit, but not returned since because they were more expensive than other places in the area and because their dishes were disappointingly cheaply made, being mostly rice, and containing almost no meat.
Anyway, this day was a public holiday and it was the only Thai place open, so my friend and I decided to eat there. We were handed a menu, and selected our two dishes at the counter. When the cashier rang this up, the total she gave us seemed to be more than the menu indicated. I assumed this was an error on my part and paid for the meal. After ordering, she asked if we would like to eat in or takeaway; we chose to eat in.
After being seated for about five minutes, the waitress came to the table, saying there is an ‘eat in' fee of $2, at this stage I was a bit annoyed but paid.
My friend decided at this at this stage that he would like a bag of prawn chips. He approached the counter and another waitress grabbed a bag from the window, and charged him the $2 indicated by the signage on the window.
A minute later the first waitress approached our table again. She insisted that we needed to pay an extra 50c for the prawn chips to cover the eat in fee and the public holiday surcharge (which we weren't previously notified of). At this point I went to the counter to complain to the first waitress.
I honestly don't know why I let it go on for so long. Not only did they charge an extra 10% for our meal without informing us, that they were then trying to leverage the fact we'd already paid to ask for a number of undisclosed surcharges.
I made them aware that it was not only sneaky and dishonest, but was a breach of the trade practices act. The waitress/ cashier involved turned out to be the owners daughter, he saw no problem in what she was doing, and made it clear that they wouldn't refund the money, which in total amounted to $4.50 on a $20 meal. Overall this was an unforgettable experience, for all the wrong reasons.

The same family still runs the restaurant, have renovated it and added a sushi bar, but it's still the same place.

This review is for Carina Fresh Seafood, Carina QLD

This is my family's preferred local Fish and Chips shop. Some of the other outlets in our area have the habit of reusing their oil to the point where the chips are burnt, but at Carina Fresh they are nicely cooked and never burnt.

In addition, they do a nice steak or hamburger, as well as all the classic seafoods. The portions are generous too.

That Crystal Site offer high quality crystals and crystal jewelery. I've used them on a number of occasions, and love their selection of rare crystals, which are offered at great prices. They also offer great service and really quick & cheap postage.

This review is for Manly Road Veterinary Hospital, Manly West QLD

I had to use this service when my dog got a tick and needed emergency treatment. I was incredibly stressed, so it wasn't helpful to have a bad tempered American woman as the attending vet, who was quite rude.

Otherwise the experience very impersonal, and got the impression that my dog Charlie wasn't receiving the best care, when they were charging for very expensive intensive care. He did however recover very quickly from a potentially deadly paralysis tick, and I do feel that at least the medical care is of a good quality.

Much better than alot of the places I have gone to. The therapists all have a great sense of what I need in terms of balancing remedial needs/vs relaxation, and they have great advice in terms of taking care of particular muscle groups if you are having problems. My favorite therapist is Coral, although the others I have had are also excellent.
