I have been here several times. At first I liked it, even tho' their coffee is nice, the price for a Flat White / coffee in general is one of the dearest in the shopping centre, but ... I can't recommend it. I've been there twice in the last two weeks. Two weeks ago, we were meeting 2 friends there at 10.30am for coffee. When arrived, several tables had a reserved sign on them. I didn't know they reserved tables and they said they had several tables reserved for lunch ... I looked at my watch again. We were shown to a table for 4 - fine as our friends had not shown and three times within 3 mins we were asked if we wanted to order something. I told each of them we were waiting for 2 friends ... don't the wait staff talk to each other / see what's happening around the restaurant? One friend turned up about 3-4 mins after we sat down and I rang to see where the 4th friend was ... she was on her way. By then we had been asked by the same staff again did we want to order. Then a waitress put a reserved sign on our absent friend's seat. I said we are waiting for her, she will be here in a minute. The waitress replied that she is "reserving the table for others who are coming for lunch at 12 but you'll be gone by then". Wow ... kind of presumptuous .. what if we changed our minds ? We ordered our coffees and when mine came, they delivered it in a take away cup on a china saucer. I looked at it and told her I was drinking the coffee here, not taking it away and wanted it in a china cup. I was a little blown away by that and our friends were too. Why the heck would we sit down to have a coffee and be the only ones to get it in a take away cup? Because we didn't order food ? New coffee in a cup came out. All through our coffee and chat, we had about three waitress approach us and ask if there was anything else we wanted to order and occasionally a waitress would walk, stop, look at our table and walk away. Now I'm all for good customer service but this definitely made us feel uncomfortable and as if we were being pushed out of the cafe as we had only ordered coffee, not coffee and food (which is expensive ... eg, Soy latte in a mug, Cappacino in a mug and Turkish bread/raisin toast will cost about $15.20 I think). Our friends felt so uncomfortable, they don't want to go back. A few days ago, just two of us returned. We sat down and were totally ignored for the best part of 10 minutes. The other issue is that they have a loyalty card for coffee drinkers with about 8 icons on either side of the card. Don't expect them to punch all on one side ... they don't. They punch on either side so it will take longer to get your reward coffee...cheap on their part unless you're awake to what they do and ask them to punch only on one side of the card. Will we return ... not likely - there are a lot of coffee shops in Narellan to choose from.

I arranged to have Foxtel installed through Telstra and had conflicting information from both parties which I sought to rectify. Telstra transferred me to Foxtel where unfortunately I had the rudest customer service person ever - talked over me constantly and when I asked to speak to his supervisor he inititally refused to put me through, then put me through to music for several minutes. Another voice came back and said it will be a few minutes and the phone line went dead. What a great welcome by this company - NOT !!

This review is for Roni's Home Depot, Narellan NSW

Roni's has had two or three shops at Narellan Shopping Centre for a while. It's Christmas shop can only be accessed from the outdoors upper car park area while the other two shops are located either side of the entry from the upper outdoors car park.

However those two shops noted above are no longer there. Why? Because Roni's has moved into a huge shop near the travellator going downstairs to the post office.

This new shop is fantastic ... all they used to have in their two shops and more !! It's better displayed, easier to get around, shopping trolleys are provided and the goods are very good quality.

Shane and his team have done an outstanding job with setting up the shop - I've never seen so many people in Roni's before so clearly I wasn't the only one who like it !!

I like Coffee Gossip at Narellan Shopping Centre. The coffee is good, the waitresses / baristas are good and the salads and sandwiches are good too.

There are plenty of seats and if you are by yourself, there's a table with magazines and current newspapers to read.

It does get very busy there and breakfast is quite popular and the cost can add up - eg Scrambled eggs with smoked salmon and sourdough with a cappacino is around $14-15 ... so if there's two of you ... but then the cost is on par with other cafes (apart from MacDonalds).

That leads me to my next point. Lately the cafe has been overrun by groups of Mums getting together with their children - some are allowed to run wild, scream etc. So my experience in recent weeks has been terrible. Yesterday there were three tables surround us all with kids and all screaming or crying.

Yes I know Mums want to go out and have a coffee, but why not take them to Maccas where there's a play ground for them? Trying to have a conversation with screaming, crying and kids running around the tables playing chasey is not pleasant at all.

Sorry Coffee Gossip ... unless you can create an area for kids and their oblivious Mums, as much as I like your coffee and food, I'll be going elsewhere.

All I want is a small stick of glue ... a glue that used to be on the shelves in Officeworks until recent months. When I got to Officeworks at Campbelltown, I was met by a teenager who was useless as to what was available, where items were in the store ... why? Because she had been there for less than 2 weeks ! Why put an inexperienced person on the door to direct people. Eventually she called someone else to ask about the glue I was looking for. Nope, none in stock. They directed me to another store where the computer showed there was some in stock. As it happened I would be driving to that suburb (Penrith) the next week. You guessed it ... none there despite the inventory showing there were 3 in stock. A check of their computer showed that the store near Liverpool had some so I called in on the way home. "Yes we always carry this". Great. But guess what? They don't now ... I can only order it on line. And when I logged in, the price of $7.98 does NOT include GST so the total cost for delivery of this item which I used to buy from Big W, Officeworks for $7.98 INCLUDING GST comes to nearly $14... or I can get it delivered to an Officeworks store and pick it up from them - some 20 mins drive. The chances are it will get lost, won't be delivered or I'll get another hopeless teenager to "help" me. Nope ... I'm done with Officeworks, I'll order it on line from E-Bay or Amazon. Retailers wonder why they are losing business ... they simply need to think about the experience they are providing customers and they should be able to figure it out ... but they don't. Pretty soon I expect that the specific glue I'm after won't be available at all ... if it is not on the shelf then people can't see it and can't buy it. Simple as that

This review is for Macarthur Veterinary Group - Camden, Camden NSW

The Macarthur Veterinary Group Camden has wonderfully dedicated vets and associates that we have confidence in. The Camden practice knows our cats to the point that I feel like our cats are “family” to them.

They understand how important our furry family members are to us and they are dedicated to ensure that their well being and quality of life is the best it can be. Throughout the years we have been attending the practice at Camden, the advice we have received about our furry family's care over the years has been terrific ... always spot on.

We always board our cats with them as they know the cats, and we know they are in the best place possible for their on going care and well being, being fed the right food and looked after every day.

The Macarthur Veterinary Group Camden is more than ”just” a Vet practice … they are with you through the good times and the bad times and care about you, your pets and what they do.
