I did my kitchen Reno through We Do Kitchens at St Marys in May of 2016. It would include renovating an external laundry, so that it would be an internal one & part of the kitchen. I was told originally that it would take 3 weeks. It took longer than 2 months!

[Redacted name] from We Do Kitchens (WDK), was very nice. He came up with a design that I was very pleased with. I was given 2 prices – one for the kitchen cupboards & then one for the trades. I would have to pay the trades individually. I had no problem with that. I was also told that I would have to get my own painter (that really seems stupid to me, when painting is part of a renovation). I would also buy my own tiles for the floor & the splashback, as well as my appliances.

After signing the contract, I was given NO extra paperwork. [Redacted name] had some sort of worksheet that he worked out the cost of the trades. I was told a certain amount for the trades. I was not given a copy of the worksheet nor was I given a copy of my kitchen design. I have had to ask when I should have my appliances delivered, when to have the painter there. I was given no ‘time table’ of who would be there & when. I was doing all the chasing for each part of the reno.

In summary, I wouldn’t recommend We Do Kitchens. I think the kitchen looks great. I love the layout, but it got to a point that I felt that once they had my money, they didn’t give a damn about my kitchen. Not once has [Redacted name] contacted me or checked out how the kitchen turned out. Their project management style? Seems to me that they have none.
