I was referred to these guys for doing some work to the engine in my Ford. Don't let the name deter you Ford people, they work on many different cars. LSx for those in the know is car speak for the range of LS V8's in Holdens over the years, but they are good with cars in general. The work was done very, very promptly, the price was great and their workshop is clean and spacious. Customer service was fantastic, highly recommended.
Big recommendation for these guys. Friendly service, straight to the point, and booked everything in within a short time frame with no fuss. They have very good pricing and were significantly under the price of other quotes i'd had. The quality of work exceeded my expectation, it was A1 in every sense. Turnaround time was quick and i can't recommend the place enough.
As a Ford nut i like this place, it has large amounts of Ford stock so i can usually find what i'm after most of the time. Heaps of other stock too, lots of Holdens, Mitsubishis, Mazdas, Toyotas, and more. Entry is $2 as at this date. There is a computer at the entry for searching for the vehicle you're after, then a printed map is given showing the location of possible matches for you. Price is good, much much cheaper than you'll pay for oem parts, and some of the bits i get look and work almost like new.
I went to this very busy, somewhat noisy cafe not so long ago and had myself the Dukka Eggs. The yolks showed that the eggs were obviously free range, full of flavour and delicious. The staff were efficient and the atmosphere was noisy as i mentioned. The price was about average but the food was definitely worth it. Drop in if you are after some fresh delicious food.
I have been here twice now and on both occasions the food has been nothing short of excellent. They have the best tasting chips i have ever had in my life, both times i've had them they have been stunningly good. The iced coffees are great, the burger is fantastic but has a herb which isn't my friend. There are many other fantastic meals on the menu. However the first time i went, i ordered a burger well done, and when it was delivered with a few others our table had ordered, we asked which one was well done and they said 'the chef was never told you wanted any of them well done' even though it was mentioned at least two times to the waitress. Second time we went, it was 11:50am and we wanted some lunch and we were in a little bit of a hurry. We were told since it wasn't mid day yet we couldn't order anything but breakfast. Even when the waitress said she'd go see if the chefs could put it through early, they declined. This was a little ridiculous since there were what looked like several chefs in there, and the restaurant was far from even being half full.
Overall however it is a restaurant which serves fantastic food, but expect to pay for it.

I bought a small banana smoothie from this shop when we were in DFO a week ago. It's a nice looking little outlet with a rather odd combination of foods, as per the name. Burgers, and juices. Usually you'll find a cafe has a health tangent, or that of bad food. This has both! Either way, the price was higher than what i'm used to, and the 'small' was very, very small! They also got our name wrong when calling out the order to be picked up. Either way the drink was nice, but overall a little on the pricey side. The smoothie was really nice though.
We went to this cafe yesterday during a hard day of retail spending. They are in one of the two food courts inside DFO. They're on the corner so are one of the first things you see from both directions. They have a nice selection of foods and drinks - i'll say the iced coffees took some time to make that's for sure, but they were done right also! They were sensational, very strong but delicious. We needed a few sugars that's for sure. The pricing was reasonable but nothing to write home about. The service was friendly. Location is obviously very good and convenient for the shoppers. No EFTPOS facilities from memory.
On a day trip to Geelong i got the one-and-only to look up bakeries with a decent reputation on my phone as i drove toward the area. We couldn't find much info on the place but gave it a shot. They have a good selection of pies and pastries, and a lot of desserts too. I went with my standard, a bacon pie and a sausage roll. The pie was pretty nice, very rich and the bacon flavour came through nicely. The pastry was delicious! Tasted very home made and rich. The sausage roll was pretty nice too, albeit needing a little more seasoning in my opinion. The prices though? Very high. The pies were over $5 and the sausage roll from memory was around $3.80 - so be prepared to pay, but they have decent food. I also had a caramel slice which tasted like it was made with at least a contribution of jersey caramel. It was very moreish. There's a decent amount of seating available but the parking outside is 15min only. Give this place a try if you're in the area.

We went here today on the advice from a family member that they were a decent bakery. The layout is quite basic inside but there is a modest selection of pies available, including one i noticed with salami in it? Different! Not sure how it tastes as i didn't order it. Anyway i ordered a Steak & Bacon pie and sausage roll. My rule is if a bakery can't make a really tasty sausage roll i won't go back, and unfortunately that's the case here. A lot of the inside was air, not meat. And the meat part tasted like sugary breadcrumbs to be honest. Very disappointed with the sausage roll. The pie however was quite nice. Rich flavour, the bacon came through very well, and the pastry was nice. I recommend the pie for sure. My partner and i also got some dessert, i got a hedgehog and the mrs bought a custard tart. She said hers tasted like a Coles example which she said was just 'ok'. My hedgehog tasted nothing like a hedgehog. All i could taste again was sugar, and coconut. No real chocolate taste at all. It also looked as if they'd been baked, which i can't be sure of, but if so that's not how a standard hedgehog is made.
There was another small issue as well but i won't go into it. To sum up, the prices are quite good, and the pie was nice, but everything else was sub par in my opinion.
After having a positive experience with a very similar store to this one in Bayswater, i decided to try this one more local to me. I was told it had virtually the same menu so i gave it a shot. The wait time was about 15-20 minutes, the selection of food was good. The dining area is adequate but we ordered take away. There is a minimum of $25 for EFTPOS here just as a FYI. We ordered some chilli oil dumplings, fried rice, and dim sims filled with sticky rice and other things, and two different soups. The food overall was very nice, and the service was efficient enough. The taste is one of the best you're going to find in a Chinese restaurant.
