I was introduced to Rut's work and she has some fantastic unique pieces that are hand made, she uses a great combination of silver, pearls and stones. My favourite are some silver earrings that are simple subtle and classy. Another friend also got his fiances engagement ring made, and it is stunning!

I left my camelbak at one of the volunteer tables during the Gold Coast Marathon July 2007, it was handed in to lost property, but I did not collect it before I flew home to Newcastle. I called the people at Gold Coast Events, who express mailed it to me the next day at no charge. They were extremely friendly and efficient!

I was referred by a friend to see Belinda Jones (physiotherapist) after tearing my right peroneal muscle (around ankle) , she was fantastic, very professional, thorough, realistic and supportive. I had a full 45mins uninterrupted session, which I was her only patient. I have been to other physios where theyare seeing a couple of people at a time, and this is very offputting. This first session included a detailed history, balance tests, an ultrasound, mobilisation, massage, strapping, a list of strenthening exercises, and a plan.

This is the best hairdressing salon I have ever experienced. When you arrive you are treated to an Aveda blue oil massage, temples neck and shoulders, while you get your hair done, another assistant gives you a hand massage. All of the girls are so professional, and it's a real treat!

There may be some bias, as we did get engaged here! But I found the harbourside dining very conducive to a romantic night, excellent presentation of food, unpretentious and delicious meal. A healthy eating out option!
