We came across this wine bar/restaurant on an autumn drive through the hills and it was a perfect place to stop for a late lunch. My husband loved his gourmet hamburger and the handmade gnocchi was the best I'd ever had (my husband kept wanting to eat it too!). The staff were really friendly and we even got to chat with one of the chefs - and thanked him for the gnocchi! The atmosphere is fabulous - especially in autumn with the beautiful red leaves of the trees outside. I love the way the restaurant lives by the '100 mile diet' principle and tries to source everything from a 160km radius. Great local food, wine and beer in a great Adelaide Hills location - what more could you want! We'll be back!

We didn't realise we'd have to book for dinner and they were booked out, so we just got some tapas and drinks at the bar and it was fantastic. The duck fat chips were amazing! The staff were really friendly and happy to chat and talk about local wines and beers. We also got to chat to a local winemaker who'd dropped in for a beer! It was fantastic watching the chef making beautiful gnocchi and we'll definitely have to go back for a meal sometime.

Beautiful breakfasts, juices, coffees and chai lattes! The atmosphere is fantastic and eating outdoors in the garden area is perfect for families with small children. A great way to relax after doing some shopping at the Aldinga markets. We'll be back!

Great pizza and pasta! My husband and I are often disappointed with Italian restaurants, so we weren't sure how we'd like this place - but it was a pleasant surprise. My husband loved his meatball pasta, my pizza was great and so was the garlic bread. The waiters were friendly and helpful and there's a nice atmosphere (apart from the TV! Why is that there?!?)

The staff are friendly and there are good deals, but there is just such a small selection of dvds to hire - especially for my kids (I think they'd seen almost every weekly hire dvd in the shop!!) So even though this is our closest video hire shop we've had to look elsewhere.

The Aboriginal artwork here is so beautiful and the collaborations with Kashmiri rug makers are truly amazing. And their business is ethical and supports and promotes the Indigenous people they work with. The exhibition the other day was inspiring. I just wish I had lots more money to support this business and buy a lot more of this beautiful art and craft work for my home and as gifts for friends and family. I'll keep saving up!

Approximate cost: $not cheap, but authentic and ethical art and craft

The Dentist is friendly, helpful and doesn't try to up-sell and make you pay more. He did an examination, sent me off to get X-rays of my wisdom teeth and gave helpful advice on what to do next. He was much more helpful than some other dentists I'd seen and it was so good not having to pay for a whole lot of extras that I didn't need!

There's a large selection of dvds and games for hire, but they are badly set out so it is hard to find things if you're looking for something specific. It also takes ages to browse things too. There's some fairly good deals, and it's close to home, so we'll be back, but it's just a bit frustrating.

Fantastic Thai food, friendly waiters and a great atmosphere. I've only been once (last time I was in Canberra) but will definitely go back again next time I'm in Canberra and would recommend it to any Canberrans.

Beautiful food, friendly staff and a great atmosphere. The Japanese pancakes were especially good and something we hadn't tried before. The prices for sukiyaki were a fair bit pricier than my favourite Japanese restaurant in Melbourne, but other than that the prices weren't too bad and there was a great variety. We'll certainly be going back there again!
