The prices here are unbelievable and the food absolutely delicious. This is definitely one of the hidden gems of Brisbane. Located in the food court of the Myer Centre, Viet D'Lish serves a variety of different dishes with rice, as well as noodles and rice paper wraps. There is a good range to choose from, including many marked gluten-free options, which is a real help for celiac customers.

All of the meals are around five or six dollars, yet come with large portions, and the food is always fresh and very tasty. Service is fast, with tickets given out to customers and then the number called out, but it's often not busy enough to necessitate it.

I particularly recommend the chicken curry, and the coconut rice is divine - it's a free option when ordering a dish that comes with rice. The $5 lunch special fried rice is, uncharacteristically for Viet D'Lish, quite bland - the toppings (BBQ pork, egg, chicken, etc) are a bit dried out from being stored in the hot cabinet and the rice (brown) has very little seasoning.

However, every other dish I've tried has been delicious! Most selections are served with rice (regular or coconut) and a bit of salad in big bowls, either eat-in or take-away. There are also bottles of water available for just a dollar when you purchase any food from them. Great value for lunch or dinner!

I had my eyebrows waxed here regularly before the store was sold (or re-branded, not sure) and just visited the 'new' store today as I was in the area. I had to wait around 45 minutes for an appointment, but the beauty therapist was apologetic for this fact and it seemed to be a busy time. I'm not sure how much they focus on appointments now, rather than walk-ins - I'll have to try going back again at different, less busy times to find out.

The woman was very friendly and we had a good chat while she was doing my eyebrow wax, which made it a more enjoyable experience. They now have the option to pay $15 for a touch-up or $20 for a reshaping, and I went with the latter option. The difference was noticable - she spent far longer with waxing and shaping than in my past experiences with single-option waxing, and it was well worth the extra price to have that level of detail. The appointment was twice as long as I've had in walk-in waxing places before and I feel like I got a much better result because of it, so it seems the branding shift has come with a more professional service (which I definitely approve of!). A great place to go for a walk-in appointment if you don't mind browsing for a while if they're occupied, or you can call and make an appointment.

Other services include a full range of waxing, beauty treatments and facials, body piercing, etc, but I haven't personally trialled any of these myself.

This review is for Happy Bowl Vietnamese Kitchen, Sunnybank QLD

I came to Happy Bowl looking for something to eat after-hours and was please to find out they're open until 9pm seven days a week and do takeaways (I usually can't finish a restaurant meal in one sitting, making it poor value if I eat in). I was attended to immediately when I wanted to order (although I would expect nothing less since the restaurant was empty). It took around 10 minutes for my stir fry noodle dish to be cooked - it was satisfactory, but nothing exceptional, so I'm looking forward to trying some more options from their menu to be able to assess their overall quality. However, the convenient hours and location are enough to keep me coming back regardless.

I had my wisdom teeth taken out by this surgeon a few months ago. In my consultation he made everything very clear and easy to understand, so I was confident going into my surgery knowing exactly what would happen. My surgery went excellently with hardly any swelling (though maybe have been due to keeping constant ice on for several days, just a tip!). Altogether, Dr Walker was professional, informative, and did an excellent job with my surgery.

Great experienced orthodontist! In my case he was able to come up with a non-surgical strategy to achieve the same results as another orthodontist wanted to reach with adult tooth removal and such. Very friendly staff make you feel right at home and comfortable. There is a great view from the consulting rooms, which is a bonus, and game system in the waiting room for the kids. Dr Vautin provides ongoing consultations/check-ups after the removal of braces to check progress. Overall, I highly recommend Instyle Orthodontics and was a happy customer for many years.

I've been seeing Dr Heath Fraser for years and have always received excellent service and advice. The staff are always exceptionally friendly, helpful and accommodating - absolutely trustworthy and never recommend unnecessary procedures for profit as some other Coast dentists have done. I absolutely recommend Avenue Dental, five stars!

Amazing food with amazing value - my favourite restaurant in Brisbane. The food is absolutely delicious and the portions are huge, definitely enough for two to share if you'd like to economise. If you check in on Facebook to show you're there, you also get a free entree, and there's free wifi between 3-6pm. A great place to eat and hang out.
