After a getaway in Sydney, on the way home we stopped here to stock up on some fresh produce for home. I was extremely impressed with how fresh and affordable all the produce was.
One of the perks is that you are able to haggle a little, and go home with more than you bargained for in the first place.
About 4 months ago I was in Sydney for a getaway. Staying on Darling Harbour, Hurricanes seemed like an ideal place for a big meal. Although the prices were pretty high, the outcome was worth every cent. A huge piece of amazing steak, with a generous side of chips and salad. Was one of the highlights of my entire trip! I left about 2kg heavier!
After seeing reviews for this place, I went out of my way to find it recently when I was in Sydney. Its just an awesome experience, of a genuine German atmosphere. Huge beers, huge meals, and everything is authentic and a unique range.
Prices can be a bit much, but its an awesome place to spend a few hours if you have an extra $120 in your wallet. I can safely say myself, and a handful of friends all enjoyed the experience.
Its nice to have a shoe store around that has some different designs to every other shop around - despite some being the same run of the mill shoes. The quality of the shoes is good, and my joggers are still going strong!
Although, as previously mentioned, some staff don't seem too friendly. I've been in a few times, and been happy with the service for the most part, although I have had one visit which was unpleasant due to staff who clearly didn't care about anything at all.
I had never tried Greek until around 3 months ago, as there aren't many restaurants around that specialise in it, that I know of. With nothing to base the taste off, I wasn't sure what to expect. After ordering a fairly simple meal (as I was nervous to buy anything too exotic), I was blown away! It was absolutely amazing, and have been back twice since!
The restaurant itself is awesome also, with plenty of room and an excellent atmosphere. The lovely staff also make it an enjoyable experience. Its just too hard to fault the place!
There aren't many places around that still have quality spare parts at decent prices. I've gone through 10+ cars in the last two years, and I'm always looking for cheap bits and pieces to perfect them. I only bother with a handful of places for these types of things, and this is a great one in the Sydney area. Always leave with a bootload of parts!
I was first drawn to Thunderbird Chickens because of the huge signage outside the store. I was happy to have some fresh chips and some chicken bits, that were even better quality than the previous Charcoal Chicken. Served with manners and a smile, and good prices and portions. The burgers are also really good and meaty! Not a bad place at all.
After reading many reviews about this place, I found myself somewhere in the middle. The restaurant has relatively poor service, with some simple meals taking 45 minutes to arrive - and not exactly tasting like they just left the grill either.
The food has an exotic taste, but isn't up to the standard of other places in the area with similar prices. I find myself here only when I feel like absolutely nothing else, and I've never left feeling completely satisfied.
The building itself has a good feel, and is well sized. Has a lot of room to improve, but isn't quite there yet!
What an absolutely amazing experience!
Its something you just have to do before you die! Not only are you climbing the countries greatest landmark, the views are amazing, and you'll have toned legs after about 60 seconds! Prices are a bit much, but well worthwhile for such an amazing and time-consuming experience! Staff are lovely and energetic also, they really help to make it an awesome experience.
When living temporarily in Sydney, my laundry had no lock on the door, and was in a public place. I called MP Locksmiths, and told them about the problem, and there wasn't a huge rush as it wasn't a huge concern. Despite that, I had a man over the next day, finish the job quickly and to an amazing standard. Hugely recommended!
