Let's not beat around the bush - Rimini's is mediocre, to put it mildly. The fare is mediocre, the service is mediocre, the layout is mediocre (especially when you sit at tables as customers queue next to you and staff shuffle around you) and the owner smoking out the front is mediocre.
Local residents are being dudded by this poor excuse for a restaurant/cafe. But, as long as they patronise it, then don't complain...

Approximate cost: $15

We stupidly decided to buy a little-known ITa HD TV through Ebay at a very competitive price - about $400. That was our first mistake.
After setting it up, we followed the instruction pamphlet (no, it didn't have a screen guide) and were unable to tune in three HD stations.
We tried repeatedly without success before deciding to pay for a qualified TV technician. After two hours he, too, was flummoxed.
Analog was okay but not those missing HD stations!
We also found out - much to our disdain - that the built-in DVD did not work.
After much correspondence with ITaconnect, the problem was not resolved. Quite simply, they kept coming up with specious excuses and, in essence, blamed us for not being adept at installing the TV.
This despite many attempts and enlisting the services of a techie!
Over a period of three weeks, we explained time and again what the faults were and each time they deflected the blame. We complayed to the Ebay administrators and, despite conceding others had had similar complaints, they essentially sided with the sellers.
At the time of writing, we sent the TV back after Itaconnect said they would get their own techie to inspect it at OUR expense!
We've written this off as a lesson learnt: don't buy unknown or inferior brands of TVs - and certainly don't by them over the internet...

We ordered lunch on a Sunday during quite a busy period and were confronted by a sullen assistant who made it quite clear she didn't want to be there. Worse still, an older woman who appeared to be in charge was indulging in idle chit-chat with a customer she knew - despite the quite lengthy queue.
When we finally sat down to eat, the rolls were dry - bone dry - and quite obviously three or fours days old. The fillings were fine but, really, we expected much better from a company with such a high profile.
