Have tried nearly all the pizza shops in the area. This one we think is one of the best. Generous with the very tasty toppings. Be careful not to add too many extra "wet" toppings or the pizza risks becoming soggy - we find its best when kept simple (we love the aussie with mushroom!). Haven't tried the pasta dishes so cannot comment on those.

Was once a great little fish & chippery. Used to give very generous portions we really struggled to finish (& sometimes couldn't) - we used to order the fish pack for 2. These days however, the prices are higher & you only get about half as much which requires my hubby to order additional or he is still hungry. Quality still is ok but I don't think its quite as nice as it used to be.

My partner took us on the Tramcar Restaurant for my birthday. I was a bit unsure about the idea but as it turned out, we both had a wonderful time. The waitstaff were professional and friendly. Everyone was made to feel welcome. The "old world" decor and warm lighting added to the ambience. The food was absolutely delicious. The only gripe is that it was all over way too soon (we chose the early dinner which goes for 90 minutes). We intend to go on the Tramcar for future birthdays and/or anniveraries but will go for the 3 hr (it goes much quicker than you'd think). Bit pricey overall but not too bad if you take into consideration that beer, wine and spirits are included in the cost.

Friendly staff keen to make your dining experience a positive one. The prices are very reasonable considering the generous size of the meals (make sure you're hungry to make the most of this).
