This would have to be the cheapest place for bathroom fittings and accessories, my wife and I are renovating and shop around a lot for good prices, these guys are the cheapest around. They have another shop in Carrum Downs, but the prices there are a little more expensive (not much). So far we've bought basins, laundry troughs, toilets and bathroom fittings, and will be going back there for our shower screens too. They even gave us extra discount off accessories without us even asking. The guys in the shop are always really helpful with any questions you have, and give you good alternatives if you're stuck for ideas.

I used to travel into Carlton for a good Kebab but I've found a local take away shop in Hampton Park, they make the most masive kebabs, you can have them in turkish bread or pita bread, they weigh a ton, and they make them exactly how you want them, more or less meat, more or less salad, all the extras. Their chips are also fantastic, better than the local fish'n'chip shop, with this chicken salt. They also have lots of other side dishes, dips and turkish pizzas. I phone ahead and it's always ready by the time I arrive. The lady that owns the shop really looks after her customers, they've definitely got repeat business from me.

My wife and I go to this restaurant about once a month, we're early eaters and like to get in before the rush and this restaurant does get really busy. The restaurant has a great feel about it, the staff are very attentive to your needs, you never have to wait long for service, they also have a TV on the wall with Bolywood movies playing so you really get the feel of the culture. The food is fantastic, we always get the banquet for 2, so you get a taste of lots of things, I think it's about 6 or 7 dishes and there is so much food we can never finish it. It's by far the best Indian restaurant in the area for food and value.
