Store stocks basic pet supplies mainly for domestic pets, good range at reasonable prices, staff seem to be quite knowledgeable, and they have a good select range of small animals, birds and fish.

Shankia's feels like a traditional Italian restaurant should, very friendly staff with a real warm home feel about it. Nice atmosphere when dining in, good menu and the food is always excellent, whether you eat in or order take out. Seating in the restaurant can get a bit crowded sometimes, I prefer just to go in a small group or with my wife especially on special occasions.

I've been going to my GP here for nearly 10 years now basically because I don't like changing doctors, the medical center is easy to get to (very close to Waverley Gardens Shopping Centre too if you need to catch public transport) and they also have lots of parking, and the practice bulk bills which is great. There are always a few doctors there if your local doctor is not available. The only problem is sometimes the long waiting time even if you have an appointment. The staff there are all really friendly and helpful.

My wife and I stop past for brunch or a quiet morning coffee nearly every weekend, it used to be a well kept secret but seems to be getting quite busy now, no matter what time you go. They have a really big range on their menus so no problems finding something for everyone. We like it best in summer to sit outside and enjoy a cooked breakfast with our coffee, very relaxing. The food is reasonably priced but service can be a bit slow sometimes.

We go here especially if we're having a large group dinner and looking for an inexpensive meal with plenty of variety. The meals are really really generous in size, so definitely don't snack on anything before you go, you can easily share a meal between two people they are that big. The service from the time you order is pretty quick to the table. Best if you book before you go as it get's packed and is a bit noisy too. But you can't been value for money when it comes to their meals.

This place has a great range of baths, basins and bathroom ware at really affordable prices, we picked up a brand new spa bath over $150 cheaper than lots of other places quoted. If there's something that's not in floor stock, the guys there can give you heaps of catalogs to look through until you find the one you want, and it doesn't take long to order in for you. Their service is really great, although they are very busy and sometimes takes a while to speak to someone for advice. They have a big range to choose from, from basic stuff to top of the range. Worth a look. They occasionally have Reno Specials, so look out for those.

My wife and I have gone off this place recently, it used to be one of our local hang outs. Not sure if it has changed hands recently, but the food quality seems to have gone down recently. Lots of the meals are starting to taste the same, and you don't really know what you've ordered by the time it comes. The chili con-carne actually looked like bean mush last time we ordered and wasn't very warm, we sent the meal back. I admin they were very apologetic and we got another meal which was hot, but the last few visits haven't been as enjoyable as when we first started going there.

Being a Tradie in the area, we get our lunches from this place a lot. I'm not much into the pastries and stuff, but the pies there are really good, you never get any crap in them, their hot-dogs are good too but a bit over priced. The rolls and loafs of bread are cheap too.

We recently bought our Westinghouse wall oven from Tim at Electric City Appliances, this place sells brand new, factory seconds and ex demo appliances well below the best internet prices you can find, we picked up our oven (ex display stock) for 60% off RRP, and $360 cheaper than the best internet deal we could find. Tim is a pleasure to deal with, very easy going and helpful. They don't have a great deal to choose from, but if he's got what you're after you sure to get a great deal.

We found this place on the internet, and they sell new, ex-floor stock and factory seconds on appliances like stoves, ovens, fridges, washing machines, TVs etc. They have some fantastic deals on ex-floor stock, hundreds of dollars below retail price, we bought our stove from them, it also came with manufacturer's warranty. If there is something you want but they don't have, they can also give you a price to order it in for you, a little more pricy, but still under retail. It's worth checking their website regularly incase something you're after comes up.
