Our solar hot water panels were deteriorating badly but the bloke found some replacement ones that he thought would be useful. We found the contact details for Hot Water Hotline who provide reconditioned solar Panels. Mike gave some very useful advice over the phone, then came and checked to see if they were ok. He then removed the old dodgy panels and installed the 'new' ones for us, for a reasonable price and giving us peace of mind that it was done right.

I've had the unfortunate experience of needing the assistance of the people at ColourCode recently and I have to say, they made the situation a lot more pleasant than I expected...
They were professional but friendly from the lovely receptionist through to the people who did the quality control. They fitted me in for a quote straight away, made a time for the actual work that was most convenient for me, and kept me in the loop about the process. They were able to keep the time I was without my car to a minimum, and the car was returned when they said it would be. I'm hoping not to have to use their services again, but I can definitely recommend them.

My usual hairdresser wasn't well and I needed a trim in a hurry. I wasn't all that excited about a $10 pay and wait trim as offered by another store nearby, but called Price Attack. They fitted me in the same morning. The hairdresser was friendly but not overwhelming and although they have a huge range of products, didn't go overboard trying to sell to me. I was pleased with the whole experience and thought the price wasn't too bad either.

I went with a friend and my 3 yo for a coffee & cake on a weekday. I've been here before and always enjoyed it, but this time was even better. The dessert items were gorgeous - I took a photo of my friend's dessert & shared it on Facebook & had lots of comments (I'd eaten too much of mine before I thought of it ;)). The staff were great - brought colouring items for my daughter and then helped us to change tables as the sun was a bit too warm.
It wasn't too busy - I'm guessing weekdays are a little easier as I know it can be packed on the weekends and evenings.
The view is always fabulous on the outside deck and the attention to detail and focus on customer comfort is great.

This review is for Gone Fishing For Fish & Chips, Geraldton WA

We were holidaying at Drummond Bay near Geraldton, and were looking for a Fish & Chips hit without tracking back into Geraldton itself. It took a little while to find details about this place online (we'd driven past and taken note of part of the name) but eventually found their Facebook page.
The fish were GREAT. Chips were a very generous serve and the people serving were friendly and efficient.
We got a family pack with a couple of other additions (a serve of their Abrolhos Islands Groper) to feed 7 of us, and there were HEAPs of chips left over.

This is a very quirky little place right near a beautiful beach just above Geraldton. Not exactly standard accomodation in some respects - some of the floor in the back area wasn't level, and there were gaps where some mozzies got in - but that honestly added to it's charm (well, maybe not the mozzies - but there weren't very many of them and there were mozzie coils supplied).
We stayed for two nights - three adults & three children, and all were able to sleep comfortably on a mix of beds & sofa beds (the cottage can sleep seven). Price varies a little depending on the season and the number of people staying - all linens are supplied except for beach towels.
Kitchen was well supplied, there was a BBQ and outside eating area, as well as a washing machine and line. A lovely extra was a bottle of wine that was left for us. There's a large screen TV (plus DVD player I think) and a couple of airconditioners for hotter days (we were there in October so it wasn't an issue).
It's quite close to Geraldton - took us about 15 minutes each way, but there is a large independent supermarket and a great little Fish & Chips shop half way there.
We enquired via the Stayz website, then dealt directly with the owners.

This review is for Ash Screens, Armadale WA

As the fire season was fast approaching I decided I really needed to do something about a cover for our evaporative airconditioner. After doing lots of searching, I found the website for Ash Screens, and was delighted to find they were local, as well as appreciating the range of information on the website.
I contacted Ash for a quote via the website and received a very speedy response. A couple of follow up emails were also quickly responded to, and the screens were measured up and installed within two weeks of my order, which I thought was really great considering that lots of other people are probably wanting them fitted before summer really kicks off.
Great service and a very useful product which will help with peace of mind!

We were a bit bemused to find ourselves the only diners at 7pm on a Saturday night, and the place didn't get that much more lively in the hour that we were there (a couple of takeaway customers and two other tables of diners). The decor is ok, but the food was very nice and came quickly, the staff were quite lovely and attentive without being intrusive, and the prices were great. We had gone for mild dishes and they ended up being a bit blander than expected - but next time we'll be a bit more adventurous!
There was a good range of entrees and main courses, a few desserts, and non-alcoholic drinks. It is byo so if you want an alcoholic drink, be prepared.

I had a slow leak in one tyre, which was starting to get very frustrating. The guys at Tyrepower fitted me in at short notice, took the tyre off of the wheel, replaced the tube, refitted the tyre, then charged me a much smaller fee than I had expected. I had three children with me, and they were happy to play in the very comfortable waiting area with the large range of toys available. And I got to enjoy some quiet time!

I've had the lunch special here a couple of times with friends. The decor is good, but we always choose to sit outside overlooking the park, as it is very loud inside, and you cannot hear each other speak.
The lunch specials are quite good value, and the serves are very generous - especially the fries. Nothing fancy, but honest pup style food.
Staff have always been quite friendly and the tables are cleaned promptly.
