I had to have a fasting blood test, with a number of samples to be taken. I hadn't been to this clinic before, but I was able to get in and out very quickly (they open at 8am) and the whole experience was probably the least painful I've ever had. The nurse was pleasant and very organised, and if I get the choice I'll be coming back for future tests.

I always thought Donut places were meant to have dodgy coffee, but I have to admit that the Armadale Donut King is one of my favourite coffee spots. The coffee is consistently good and reasonably priced, and for an extra 50 cents you can get two sugar donuts - keeping two kids happy!
They usually have reading matter for the kids, and a paper for me - makes for a great break in the middle of shopping.

I'm not a fan of PlayCentres (I find them very loud) but the kids love them! This is the closest one to us, and we had a small birthday party there recently. We didn't hire a party room as there were only 5 kids (although the party rooms seem quite nice) but I called to staff to check about bringing in a cake, and also some of our own food (as my daughter has food allergies).
They were very helpful and we had a good time.
They often have free coffee vouchers for the parents in the local paper, which is good as the food cost can add up with children getting their exercise!
You do need to keep an eye on your children if they are little, as there are lots of kids who use the centre of varying ages, and it's not exactly quiet play!
Overall, it's a loud treat for our kids and there are enough activities to keep them happy for a couple of hours.

We come to this McDonalds on occasion because of the McCafe. The staff have always been pleasant, the coffee not bad at all, and the range of little treats quite good and reasonably priced compared with many other cafe's. It's also handy to have a playground where you can enjoy your coffee whilst keeping an eye on the kids.

This is an interesting store if you have children or want to buy good quality toys that will last. They have a web store which has a range of really good quality products at a good price, which are posted within Australia (unless they are quite large in which case they contact you to organise collection from their location in Kenwick.) We ordered a couple of items and it was a long process because they ordered in one of them from interstate especially for us, but I was pleased with their customer service and the price they were able to provide it to us for.

This shop has opened in what used to be the IGA Fresh premises. It has an amazing range of fruit and vegetables (quite a lot is pre-packed and some of that needs to be checked, but there are some very good specials as well as good quality produce) as well as a mix of staples (good prices on milk and eggs), meat (from Beatties meats - looks to be good quality) and an interesting range of Asian groceries. Staff are friendly and know their prices and produce, but the checkout staff can be a little over the top in trying to encourage you to buy the special deals placed all over the counter (sometimes taking up most of the space so that your groceries can only be unloaded 3 or 4 items at at time. The shop can be difficult to maneuver as there are often trolleys in the entrance and pallets and boxes entering the aisles, but the range of produce and the prices make it definitely worth persevering.

We have been using Intercept for a few years now after a recommendation from a friend. Ricky is always very helpful and has gone above and beyond what we expected. He uses treatments for termites that are safe for children and he is very open and honest in giving you options. Although he is quite busy, he is also good at making sure any urgent problems are attended to promptly. After a few years of using much less helpful and much bigger companies, we've been delighted with the service that Ricky has given us.

I had a gift voucher for an eyebrow wax and they were great. I don't do this often and can find beauty staff a little intimidating! However, these were really nice ladies, it was a relaxing environment with soft music and a nice decor, treatment was quick and painless and the whole thing was enjoyable enough for me to consider doing it regularly.
Not a place to take children (if you want to enjoy it) but they do provide services for both females and males.

I've been a bit of a skeptic about chiropractic treatment but Dr Gilmore has made a big difference in our little girl's sleeping habits. It certainly hasn't happened over night, as he says that if he tries to move too quickly then the body can react adversely, but it's been a slow and steady progress. The front office staff are great, the waiting room has interesting reading and comfortable chairs, and there is a separate waiting area with toys, colouring, books and comfortable seating for kids.
They even have tea and coffee making facilities.

Crazy Don's has a range of imported (mainly British) and discounted (sometimes close to or just out of date) stock. What is available changes on a regular basis, but there are always some good buys to be had and the staff are great if you have any queries. I can't get all of my groceries there by any means, but it's nice to pick up a few treats and get some of the basics at a good price.
