I will normally purchase a whole chicken and a medium chips. I find the chicken to always be cooked perfectly. It is juicy and tender and never has a burnt herb taste. The chips are chunky, they get served piping hot (and last the car ride home-about 5 mins). They fill up the chip serve to the top also. I have tried their coleslaw, it is nice and has a good mayo amount for my liking. I've also tried the potato salad, the potatoes are cooked well and the salad has a sweet tang. The service is great, the servers are generally young and seem to enjoy the job they do. They are always pleasant. Its also open 7 days, which in Benalla is excellent. I have never seen them run out of chickens either, they've always got plenty of stock.
