Robyn & Jo were very helpful. Jo worked with us to pick out every light we will need for our house inside and out. She then emailed us the quote and even rung me to check my email address which I had written down wrong. The service was great.

Everything is cheap but really nice. I take my three children there because I can afford to buy each of them something instead of having to share. If you get there early and not everything is on display they will go out the back and get it for you. My kids and I think it tasted great, we go most times we are at Chermside.

Approximate cost: $under $6

They will bring your coffee and cookies to your table all you have to do is ask. They have a reward system and if you misplace your card they will give you another one - when you find it they will even transfer all points to the one card.

The coffee has never tasted burnt, its always hot & I always choose the cookies I want without any trouble. I will walk the length of Chermside just to have a coffee.

Approximate cost: $under $5 for coffee and cookie

I went looking for an item that was advertised & I started looking in the toy section. With 3 children I needed to find the item fast. I found a lady who was in the shoe section, she walked me down to the bike section (I was after a scooter), helped me to the check out and then when my 3 year old needed to go to the toilet she looked after my bag and my other 2 children while I rushed to the toilets.

The staff members name was Sahba and she is a credit to Big W at Chermside. I will be ringing them shortly to sing her praises.

Approximate cost: $29

I needed a cake topper for my son's baptism. The staff were helpful even though they were really busy. I the time I was there they helped a lady organise all the supplies for her son's birthday party, a women find a topper for her baby shower cake and a few people getting cookie cutters for Christmas. Although all these people were in the store each of us got the best service, we weren't made to wait, we were helped until we were happy and the lady getting the supplies was given a detailed break down of what she needed to do - they even gave her a mobile number she could call if she needed further help. I will be going back in the future especially around birthday time - they hire out cake tins. Excellent two thumbs up.

I use to work at Big W (before children) and I use to go out of my way to help people find things that they wanted. Since leaving there employment in 2005 things have changed greatly. They make you chase up the item you are looking for which means spending time on hold waiting for people to answer your call and then to locate the items you are after. The store at Nambour was so much better - they cared, they helped and they seemed happy to help. It was that type of ‘service your grandparents' probably received when they use to shop.

Although I now live in Brisbane I wish the Nambour staff could come and train our local branches especially when it comes to being friendly.

Had to go an pick up some medication and they were busy. My 2 year old was tired and my 9 week old need to be feed. I handed over my script and then my son let loose with his 'feed me know' cry. The lady who served me asked a couple of people who were before me if it would be ok at serve me first. They said YES and I was served in about 5 minutes.

With two upset children thing like this make your life so much easier. Keep up the great service.

My son was due for his immunisation, I'd missed the free council clinic so I rang Lakeland's Medical Centre at North Lakes to see if they could do it for me. I'd never visited this medical centre before so with it been 5 days before Christmas and being new to the area I expected that I'd be waiting days to get an appointment. I rang at 1.30pm and I was given an appointment for 3.40pm that day. I nearly fell over I was shocked especially as my old doctor had booked me in for an appointment for Thursday lunchtime.

What was even better was that when I arrived I remembered that I should have be vaccinated for Whooping Cough so I asked the nurse and she called on the doctor who had seen my son. We'd been his last patients for the day so he'd gone home BUT she found another doctor who walked into the treatment room had a little consultant with me and then I was immunised. This all happened during the 10 minute wait time that's required after having a baby immunised so that they don't have a reaction.

My children (I have 4) and I were warmly welcomed, seen too within a few minutes of arriving (I was on time) and back in the car ready to leave within 30 minutes of entering the practise. This never happened at my old doctor's surgery.

It's a large surgery but this doesn't mean that you aren't looked after. So much so that when my daughter broke out in a rash yesterday morning they gave me an appointment for an hour later. She was seen by a great doctor who was very accommodating especially as she isn't the easiest to deal with especially when she doesn't know you.

If you need a doctor they have a heap of doctors on staff. Won't be going back to the old place I can't afford to wait day's to make an appointment and also have to wait at least an hour to be seen.

Approximate cost: $Kids up to 16 bulk billed

I have visited a couple of times and the experience has always been so so. A few days ago I overheard a customer asking to pick up her lay-by only to be told that it had been cancelled. The women looked upset. I found this surprising but I continued to shop.

An older lady served me, helping me find an outfit but once she had given me the clothes to try on she disappeared. The service that others have talked about wasn't given to me. I purchased a number of items and then left.

The previous customer was still in the car park - she was upset and on the telephone. I heard her telling someone that she hadn't even received a call to tell her that her lay-by was been cancelled. This seemed like a silly move on the part of the 'Maternity Super Store' especially when the majority of customers are pregnant a telephone call to remind you would be helpful to all involved.

I won't be returning especially as what happened with this previous customer (e.g. lay-by) affected the service I received.
