There are basically 2 brands of Asian bakery in Brisbane. Breadtop is probably the better one though the Japanese bakery chain also has some interesting items as well.

Not as good as what you get in Asia, but still lots of fun food. Food can be sweet, but not as sweet as a cake. Some savoury items can be sweet as well.

Love this place. Clean,open,hygienic. The breads are so fresh,do try the bamboo bread even tho its black and weird and looks gross lol kids and i took the plunge after seeing it so many times and thinking. Yuk! No way. It taste a little like a garlic bread if heated in microwave for a minute at home. Go on be daring .love the chocolate horns and the gelato in the fridge, one serve and the bananas in pjs is Devine, cant fault the place

I love this place. Whenever in Chermside I find myself tempted to fill three bags full of their food. It tastes so good and the service style is so cool going around with trays what innovation. Great Great Great. Once I have finished all the stuff I bought I want to go back for more It's just that good

They have such great food there i love the hotdog in the bread roll things they are great and you go around the iles with a tray and thongs and grab what you want they sell at a good price

So many tempting things to tempt your taste buds from sweet to savoury, my kids love coming here..
It is a cash store only which can be a hassle as I tend to use cards than cash.....

I absolutely love BreadTop. There is an enormous variety of delicious, incredibly unhealthy things to choose from (salmon floss bun is a particular favourite!), everything is always fresh and appetising to look at. The only thing I could complain about would be the fact that it's cash only - annoying, but clearly they make enough without offering eftpos that they don't care at all!

Everything is cheap but really nice. I take my three children there because I can afford to buy each of them something instead of having to share. If you get there early and not everything is on display they will go out the back and get it for you. My kids and I think it tasted great, we go most times we are at Chermside.

Love going here! it is always a good little treat, love their mini hotdogs which are sweet but savoury at the same time, very cute and sooo yummy! love the varieties they have here and very nice people
